Whenever I get a "crabbie" CM, which fortunately doesn't happen often, I call back later to have another CM review the WHOLE reservation with me. A friend of mine had trouble with a CRO CM during a call. She's a teacher, so she can be a little forceful, and insisted that something could be done that the CM was telling her could not. (The CM was actually wrong, but was sticking to her guns.) She finally got what she was trying to do straightened out.
However, when they checked in at the resort, her husband and kids' names were correct on the reservation, but her name had been changed to an obviously made-up name like "Trudy Boogerhead."
The resort wasn't going to let her check in because they were on the dining plan and her name didn't match the reservation. It took a discussion with a manager and her being in tears before it was straightened out.
A funny side effect is that she now receives junk mail addressed to Trudy Boogerhead.
