Crane @ Cinderella's Castle

I recall reading a thread a couple of weeks ago about an ugly crane marring otherwise picturesque photos of the castle. Sure enough, when we arrived at MK this morning around 10am, there it was. I was so disappointed. It started raining sometime after 2 today, so we were darting in and out of covered rides. I happen to notice around 5pm, the crane was gone. Not sure if it's removal is permanent, but thought I would offer some optimism for those who may be visiting in the coming days, and had concerns about the ugly crane.
We're heading back on Friday, so I hope the crane is gone for good.

sorry to burst your bubble but the crane is supposed to be there for a while. Its part of a castle refurbishment they do every once in a while.

Oh we'll, I was glad to see it was gone for a bit today. We were able to get a few photos with a photo pass photographer, crane free today!

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but the non-picturesque crane has been living next to the castle off and on for the past year or more. Will it ever go away?

Take your pictures with the crane in them. Photoshop it out when you get home. If you can't, just PM me a couple of pictures and I'll photoshop it out for you.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but the non-picturesque crane has been living next to the castle off and on for the past year or more. Will it ever go away?

It's always up twice a year, once around end of August to put up the castle lights and once around now to take them down. This year it is up longer for some refurb on the castle.

I'll be there tomorrow and couldn't care less about a crane. If it was a problem, I wouldn't go. If you expect the park to be open everyday, this is what you get. Everything can't be done at 3 am.
