Cranberry Sauce Help Please!!

Does anyone have the recipe from the back of the Ocean Spray cranberry bag? DH did the Thanksgiving shopping this morning, and brought home a strange brand of cranberries with an even stranger recipe involving maple syrup. I know I just need sugar & water, but how much of each please?

I did type in Cranberry sauce on the recipe finder, but ended up with over 300 recipes...lol. You might be able to narrow it down to exactly what you're looking for.

Lucky for me my family likes the whole berry cranberry sauce, right out of the can!

I use 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Boil together for about 5 minutes then add the cranberries and cook gently until popped and slightly thickened.

A nice touch is to add a little grated orange peel, or alot if you like. It doesn't take away from the cranberry just adds a neat flavour.

Thanks everybody - I appreciate your help! I'm going to make the sauce this a.m. and get at least one thing out of the way. Snowwark - I didn't even think of the Ocean Spray website - what a good idea! Baboo - I think that sounds close to what I normally do, but since I only make it twice a year my failing memory wasn't sure! MCMS - the orange peel sounds like a nice touch, too.

It's very easy, PoohBWV (assuming of course that one's husband buys the usual product). Actually, my children (8 & 11) are going to make it in a few minutes, so you're in big trouble if yours doesn't work out!
