I'M BORED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ted is supposedly watching a movie that we just saw probably two months ago. Actually, his eyes are closed and snoring. I would love to change the station but he would tell me that he's watching it. LOL

Wow that sounds like Jeff.

Jeff was so bored yesterday I talked him into going to rent a steam cleaner for our carpets. I was surprised he did this since he was so mad at his mom Friday. Now I have clean carpet in my livingroom. We will have to rent it another time to do my bedroom. That it all the carpet we have downstairs. I am not touching the kids rooms until they move out. Then I will either clean it or replace the carpet. We really need to replace the carpet downstairs (main level).

Since we did our living room carpet I am sitting on my bed watching football. Jeff moved the TV from the livingroom in the bedroom. It is a large LCD screen TV. Much better than the small one we have in our bedroom.

I have stuff all over the house. A sofa is in my kitchen, another one in my foyer along with a recliner, a chair in the diningroom which is actually now the XBox room and all of my tables and lamps are in mixed areas, kitchen, foyer, XBox room and my bedroom. The TV stand and the Grandfather clock is still in the livingroom. Jeff refused to move them.

Selena, that's how we clean the carpets, too, but I am done, done, moving furniture. I think we will just have the carpet cleaners clean around the stuff. I lived like that when we redid the kitchen. I had no problems with it and I think it was because I was losing my orange countertop. LOL

In the past I have had a professional but really was not too happy with their service. I am really impressed how well we cleaned our carpet. A few years ago we had a problem with our gas logs. We could have filed on our insurance and we should have. I regret that now. We have had to repaint and clean everything due to soot all over the entire downstairs. It was not that bad upstairs. Unfortunately we have some stains on the carpet that may never come up due to the soot but the carpet looks awesome. Those stains are under a sofa so it is not a really big deal.


I am trying very hard to add one more person to my farmville so I can expand my farm.

It is funny, before buying our first or this house I did not want a brick house. I like siding. Now that I am in my second house with siding I would like a brick house.

We have some really good logs and they can heat the entire house. My house is 2 levels and 2600+ sq ft. We warm the down stairs first then once we have it the temp we want, we open up the doors upstairs. Now my bedroom stays cool in the winter and hot in the summer. I do not mind it cool when I sleep though. I sleep better when it is cooler in my bedroom.

Before buying this house we lived in a development with some nosy neighbors and boy did they like to gossip. One of the selling points of this house was no neighbors at the time of sale. We also new that there could only be so many houses down our road. We own the road.

What we did not anticipate was the house that owned the land behind our house, which is what you see when you first come down my road, to sale the land. What happened was terrible. This older couple gave their son some land to build his house on and allowed him to use the rest of the land for a pasture for their horses. So we had a field behind us that they used for to grow hay. Then the man left his wife for a younger woman and sold the land out from under his son. It was terrible. We did not know anything until the day after they had rezoned the land. We did not receive notice until the day after via mail. I still swear they did this on purpose because me and my neighbor (I had one by this time) would have went to the meeting and vored against it. Now I have a mobile home development behind me. I guess I am lucky everyone owns their lots and mobile home but still it is hard on property value.

Boy am I dreading this week. I am so sick and tired of the crap at work. My job is so stressful now that I have to do everyone else's job. It makes it hard to get my work done. Plus I go back for my blood work on Wednesday.

Selena - yes we got our carpets cleaned and they look fantastic. Very much worth the price we paid for the steam cleaner. I think our house is cleaner now that it was when we moved in!!!! How many neighbors total do you need before you can expand more? I am trying to expand to 22x22 and it won't let me!

Selena, with Ted working for a City, I have heard about the disapppointments that people get with fields behind them. Your house sounded so nice before the mobile home park but I am sure you are still loving it. When we first bought our house in 1976 all the neighbors were so close, talking, partying, helping each other. Now that the houses have turned over and over it is no longer nice living here. Ted came from a one house family and I have to learn to accept it. It was really cool early on hearing the cows moo and such.

Having the neighbors that built were fine but having that land sale and a small mobile home development moving it was very disappointing. We are fortunate that only 2 are close by. Plus in my county to have any home dwelling you must have place your dwelling on at least one acre.

Acre lots sound wonderful. It seems that houses are getting closer and closer together. That is one reason why Ted wouldn't move.
