First remember I am going on a 3 day cruise not a 7 day cruise.
I am only going to take one pair of shorts, 2 tshirts, black pants, one dress, 2 tops for dinner, 3 bathing suits, 1 cover up dress, jeans and a sweatshirt. That does not include my undies, bra and pj's. I will roll all of that and this alone gives you tons of room.
For the B2B cruises (9days) I over packed still although I cut back. I took 3 pairs of shorts, 3 tshirts, 7 bathing suits, 2 coverup dresses, 3 dresses, black pants, 4 tank tops, a pair of jean capris and black capris. I took my rainbows, a pair of flip flops and 2 other dress shoes and my sneakers. Undies, pj's and 7 pr of socks. Oh yeah and a jacket that I used!! It was cold a few times in some of the lounges.
I did not wear all of my tshirts, bathing suits, socks tanks and shoes.
I attempt to take black because you can wear it over and over and if it gets dirty just send it to get cleaned. 2 pairs of black pants can go a full 7 days. I only wear them to dinner and then change afterwards. I figure 2 hours at most a night they will stay clean a good 4 days. Thought process is normal wear would be 8 hours. The math is 8 hours.
Since I stay cold in the room I have to have socks on my feet. You have to have bathing suits. Who likes a cold wet bathing suit. So if I am in the water during the day and then want to get back in later in the evening, I refuse to put on a wet bathing suit.
As I said what gets me are the toiletries. I have my 3 hairbrushes, a flat iron, hairdryer, hair products, makeup, lotions, sunscreens, medications, face wash, toothbrush, toothpaste and whatever else. This is what kills me. I also take a mini lint roller, small mirror, antibaterical gels, 2 or 3 chapstick, wetwipes...This is where I go wrong. But I normally use most of the stuff.
