Wow what an array of animals you have Karen and Selina. I use to have a bird but I just can't get another one to replace him. I got so attached to him and it is still too hard to think of getting another bird. My boyfriend does have a sharp-ie-lab (sp?) mix that I love to death.

Hey Heidi, I resemble that remark. I found the thread earlier, but just started posting. I wanted to get in on the fun!

Dreamakermom, you didn't miss the recipe. I had posted it on the Colorado cruisers thread. Basically what we have done is use Dole's Strawberry-Banana-Orange juice with a shot to shot and a half of light rum (or two shots if you are my DH) and then a little diet sprite on top, mix well and enjoy. We make them in our DCL hurricane glasses so I fill it a little over half way with the juice and then go from there. This all started with my mom making us these drinks using the Pineapple Orange juice. THat was good too, but I like the other better. It's good for you too! You get your daily recommended Vit C and a good dose of Potassium too.

I lost my dog years ago and told myself that I wouldn't put myself through that abuse anymore. It was the hardest thing to lose him after 14 years! Then we lost 2 cats and Heidi's bird. I know that my heart gets so sick over losing pets that I just don't want to do it anymore!

I just bought sprite, fruit punch and will add Parrot Bay and see what I come up with. That way all I would have to do is buy the parrot bay. Will let you all know.

I wish DH would allow me to buy "coordinating" outfits. I mentioned it to him a few months back and his look was well, you know.

Me too Sandy. We saw several families dressed this way on our last cruise and Jeff just looked at me and said "NO!"

Hey, look at these:
Melon Colada " Recipe

Ingredients
3 oz. Pineapple Juice
1.5 oz. Light Rum
1 Splash Cream
0.5 oz. Dark Rum
1 oz. Coconut Cream
0.5 oz. Melon liqueur
Mixing Instruction
In a blender combine about 3 oz. crushed ice and all ingredients (dark rum is optional). Blend on medium until smooth and pour into a glass.


Mango Melon Colada


Ingredients
1/3 cantaloupe -- peeled, seeded, and cut in chunks (about 2 cups)
1 mango -- peeled, seeded and cut in chunks (about 1-1/2 cups)
3 Tablespoons cream of coconut
2 Tablespoons fresh lime juice
2 Tablespoons superfine sugar
4 ounces light rum

Process all ingredients and two cups crushed ice in a blender until smooth, about 20 seconds. Divide between two glasses and serve immediately.

Preparation time: 10 minutes. Makes: 2 drinks.

NO WAY!!! I am just going to go along as normal and then
BAM!!!!! He won't know what hit him! I will bribe him, beg him, do anything I have to... ... to get him to do this. The spa room is the beginning of my bribing.... the mud packs.... the massage oil.... Hahaha.. (where the heck is my drink now???!!!) And if that all fails.... I will resort to the "female way" We will see how it goes. But, I have plans and the first plan is to NOT tell him what is going on. Mums the word guys!!!!

Cristi - hmmm daily vitamin C and potassium, definitely have to try that, that is I can ever get my Parrot Bay back from my mom!!!! Maybe I can sneak over and get my mango rum, that would be so good with that juice...time for a stop at Super Walmart on my way home from work!!!!

Mom - Remember that is MY Parrot Bay, guess you better buy me a new bottle.....better yet bring me on the cruise and I will buy you a bottle.

Matching close: My ex boyfriend's mom bought us matching shirt and dress in Hawaii and my ex actually coordinated with me and we wore it in Puerto Vallarta!!!! Not sure if I would wear matching close with my SO!!!!!!!

Oh Sandy I do not want to hear about it. I still want to stow away.

I have lost 2 more pounds. I am surprised I have lost the weight. I want to tone the dimples up in my legs....

Maybe I will be happy with this bod (or as happy as I cna be to be 36) after all on the cruise.

Today is suppose to be the hottest day of the year here in NC. I am going to have lots of fun at the pool. Well I had better go and get my suit on and the drinks and lunches packed.

For a second I thought this was the Colorado thread I was thinking Selena was losing it by going swimming today on the hottest day, then I realized this is the alcoholic thread!!!!! Today in Colorado it might make it to 64 degrees, and the sun is gone today, it must be taking a break from CO!!!!

Unfortunately I didn't get to watch the launch, I was at work!!! Glad everything went okay.

Cranberry juice and Pineapple juice are available for purchase at the bars/lounges onboard. The
cost is $1.75

There is a 24 hour beverage station located on the port side of the ship close to Mickey's Pool on
both ships. Offerings include:
Complimentary soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Diet Sprite, Pink Lemonade, Hi-C Fruit Punch)
Lemonade
Iced Tea
Water and ice machine
Milk
Hot Chocolate powder
Hot fresh coffee (Regular and Decaffeinated)
Hot water and a selection of tea bags
Sugar and Cream

During breakfast Topsiders Buffet will offer orange juice and apple juice. They may also have tomato
or cranberry juice.
