Okay Ladies, now that June is here, we need to figure out if we're going to be able to meet again before Cosmo needs to be shipped to Marcie in time for the July 3rd Astros game. Assuming the very latest we can ship him would be Monday, June 26, that leaves us (not counting tomorrow due to short notice) only 3 Fridays or Saturdays. I'll just state up-front that Saturday, 06/10 is already out for me.

So...interest? conflicts? excuses?

I can do it this Friday(tomorrow) but can't on Saturday due to a wedding. Then the following week I can do it on Friday but not Saturday due to grandkids birthday party. How about even a Sunday lunch? June 23rd and 24th is out for us. We are spreading our friends ashes over that weekend and will be out of town. Oh my, I sound so difficult. Sorry!

Kemah is a town with a boardwalk on the water. It's one of my favorite places to get away and eat. They have live bands out, a fountain, where Jrys son played , little booths and shops and restaurants. It's a lot of fun. We go once a month or two and eat.

This weekend is out for me we will be up at camp. We are going up to Magic Sky which is close to Red Feathers Lake.

I can't do the 11th we are having friends over. As far as I know I could do the 9th (Friday) or the following weekend, not Sunday since it is Father's day.

First off and most important I would like to give lots of hugs to Marcie and Selena and Karen.

Cristi - we still meeting at Arrow at 5? Have fun camping, can't wait to hear the horror stories you will bring back about some of the girls and camping (all the little miss priss!!!)

I can't do it this Friday, I promised my cousin I would go to her softball game at Clement Park and then take her and her brother out bowling. This Saturday I have a wedding I have to go to. Next weekend on Friday, July 9th I am avaible but not on Saturday because of the twins 1st birthday party I do not have anything going on any of those 2 Sundays.

Mom - I thought we were going to scatter Lou's ashes on June 17th? When did that change because I told Stacey I would babysit for her on the 24th and I want to go with when you scatter Lou's ashes.

Kemah sounds like so much fun, wish we had something like that here.

Heidi, there definitely was some miscommunication over the ashes with you and I. I didn't have a calendar in front of me all the times we discussed it. Stacey is aware of it and is trying to find another sitter. Sorry for the confusion.

Marcie, Kemah sounds like a perfect place just to get away.

Cristi, so far I think I can do it on the 9th also. Heidi and Jrsy? How does your calendar look for the 9th?

The 9th sounds good to me. I do have to work that day so it would probably be 5:30 or 6 before I could meet anywhere. Just let me know.

It looks like everyone seems good with the 9th, 16th or 17th; correct me if I am wrong. I think all of those dates work for me. Will it be difficult to get into Texas Roadhouse (assuming that is where we are going) if we don't get there until 5:30 or 6? Do they have call ahead? Or do we get there early and just have Cristi join us when she can get there?

I have to correct myself: the 17th is out for me. Company picnic that day.

I think the 9th would be the best for us because the following weekend we should be camping. Texas Roadhouse DOES have call a head seating. Never done it before but guess we will find out what it is like.

We have used the call ahead seating. Once it worked really well, we only had to wait about 5 minutes or so after we got there. The next time didn't work so well, but DH didn't remember what our confirmation # was and they couldn't find us on the list. I think with a big group going someone would probably need to call around 5 to get us on the list, but I am not sure. They don't do the 2for1's on Fridays do they?

Well tonight we did something for our families health and happiness. We used to all 3 take Tae Kwon Do and all 3 have black belts. About a year and a half ago Dane tore his ACL in his knee and had to have knee surgery and couldn't work out for 6 months. I was burnt out so I took off with him. Then the hurricane and stuff and our contract expired. Tonight we went back and rejoined. It is so good for stress and we used to always feel good and be happy when we went. And, it was something we all 3 did together. Something we need right now. We went for 3 years and were there very often. When we walked in the door tonight I got this big smile on my face. Felt like going home. I told our instructor that I was only commiting to twice a week. I am excited to be going again!!!

The 9th works for me too. I think the Texas Roadhouse as 2-1 every day (even on the weekend), please correct me if I am wrong. I want to go there so we can try Cristi's cowgirl quencher!!!!!!

Marcie - that is so great that you guys did that. I am sure it helps your heart out and may help to build your relationship again. I didn't know you had a black belt, now that is impressive and I know who not to make mad.

I like the knew smilies. This one is my favorite :opcorn: because it is my addiction. But what the heck is this are they ballerina's? This was me last night watching So You Think You Can Dance I never would have watched that show, but we watched it at my sister and BIL's trailer and it was funny watching the guy fall on his face. Last night Chris wanted to watch it so I watched it with him and one girl threw up on stage and another girls ugh ah "parts" fell out of her shirt.

for some reason I was thinking that they only did the 2 fers on M-Th. It is only from 4-6 isn't it? If they do them on Fridays I will have to make sure I get out of work a little early so maybe we could meet closer to the 5:30 time. Yes, I am planning on bringing the whole family this time.

Okay I am off for my fun weekend. Tonight I am taking my cousins Cosmic bowling and tomorrow we have to go to my cousins wedding and we get to see my nephew walk!!! Have a great weekend everyone.

Hello everyone,

Today started off just great. By 4:30pm it crashed. My "stepdad" called me because he got a letter from the hospital that did my mom's eye surgery on a Tues and she died on Friday. They said in the letter (addressed to HER) that she received a contaminated dosage of an antibiotic the day of her surgery. Man, my world came crashing down all over again. I wonder if that is what killed her?????? I need a BBC right about now or a Malibu margarita. Anything! I am sitting here all alone. DH took out his friend to Hooters tonight for his birthday. I tried calling my brother, nope not home. Tried calling my nurse DISfriend. Nope, not home. Sheez, so I just ATE and ATE some more. I have to call Heidi but am avoiding it. She won't take it very well.

Anyway, I think the have 2fers everday M-F from 4-6 and then Sat and Sun something like 1-4. Man, I will come and have SEVERAL of Cristi's drinks!!

Marcie, I love you getting back to the old routine. That is soooo perfect!!

Oi, Sandy! And I was feeling mopey because a year ago today we were at the Magic Kingdom. With the things you keep hearing about hospitals and contamination these days, I think I'll be trying extra hard to stay healthy! Hope you are feeling better today.
