Jrsy - missing too, haven't heard from him in a while, he must have gone to Elitches (Six Flags) and enjoyed the water park since it was hot, hot hot her this weekend.

Good guess, almost right. Did go to Elitch's but didn't do the water park. Had DS's friend with us and didn't want to accept that much responsibility for him in the water, especially not even knowing if he could swim. Now, however, I am doing DIS thread research on sunscreen. Slathered up before we left AND wore a hat except on the rides where I couldn't and STILL have a bright pink scalp today! Not painfully burnt but enough that I am aggravated that my precautions didn't work. I never took my bandana off the entire day on Castaway Cay and may have to start doing that at Elitch's.

BTW, Cosmo is taking it real easy these days. I think he is still recovering from Vegas.

Jrsy - my dad and my boyfriend both use the Banana Boat Sport spray (it's in an orange bottle) and have not had a problem with it. They used it when they were sitting outside for 2 days at the estate sale and didn't get burned.

I am back for a day. Had a great time and will take off for the campground tomorrow. I will be commuting this week. We can't abandon the trailer over 24 hours.

Someone else asked which friend Cosmo got from McD's. He has two smaller versions of himself. Thought he wouldn't be so lonely while being shipped back and forth if he had buddies with him.

Heidi, thanks for the suggestion. I've read good things about Coppertone Sport Continuous Spray and Bullfrog, plus I learned about Baby Blanket Tender Scalps spray. That sounds perfect for my follically-challenged/forehead-enhance melon (that's not a forehead, its a five-head!).

I thought I would only hear about a five-head from my best friend, she says that all the time about herself and then to hear it again is hilarious to me!!!!! Obviously I like the look of the follically-challenged/forehead-enhance melon.

My best friend is taking me out to dinner for my birthday tonight. She won't tell me where, she wanted to start off with getting us pedicures..but the times won't work out for her. It will be a fun night!!

I have to start focusing on excursions for our cruise. I think St. Thomas will be with my parents and drinking bushwackers, St. Lucia will probably be touring the island and going to the waterfall, zip line, volcano, and some other stops, Barbados will be the beach and the Malibu Rum Factory Tour, and then CC will be the Eco tour. Sounds like a plan to me!!!

My birthday is actually Monday, May 29th...but because I am booked up Thursday thru Monday and she has to pick up her son on Wednesday, today was the only day we could get together. Our weekends are booked up for the next 3 weekends.

I can't wait for AI. I think Taylor will win.

Hmmm...it sounds like we need to compare our favorite lack-of-hair related sayings (at least the ones appropriate for a family-friendly board). Personally, I've always been fond of "You can't grow grass on a busy street." And this one, which is just barely appropriate on this board: "I don't waste my hormones growing hair." Of course, my DS has always said that I have bald hair.

Cruises and cruises and cruises..........everyone seems to be cruise talking.

I go to Key Largo in the beginning of July and then at the end I am headed to upstate NY for the opening week in of the tracks, headed down to see Jimmy Buffett on August 1 in NJ aand then to Atlantic City for the next weekend. Jeff finally gave me the go ahead that I could go on this trip.

A few of my friends are going to get to go on the Freedom for a United Way benefit in a weekend and a half in Miami. They are all so excited.

I am so looking forward to this weekend. We are going to Blowing Rock to hit the outlets and I hope to talk Jeff into going to a few vineyards on the way back. LOL We might have to make it a night stay. Little does he know. LOL

Did I tell you all Jeff bought a Harley? I cannot remember who I have told and how I have not told. I even purchased me some biker babe clothes

Hope everyone is doing fine. Karen how are you? Marcie, I sent your check one day last week along with another bill but to be honest I can not remember if they ever made them to the box at work. Where is Jimmy Buffett playing? I got to see him in NJ a couple of times but always at the same place. I never spent much time in AC since I'm not a big gambler and the beaches are kind of small. I'm sure you'll have fun!

I went to the doctor today and discovered my insurance card was expired. Not sure if I was even issued one for this time frame. I am sitting here on the phone with the insurance co. I have been on hold for 15 minutes. Talk about frustrating!
