Heidi, I forgot to add: I completely forgot about our pizza making disaster. Good thing we didn't discuss that one last night. Why is it that it is always you and me?

Okay RUM party at my house tomorrow night. It will end with me making my reservations at 2 am for my cruise. So we can't pass out before that LOL. I will send the plane around for all. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Now that would be the life.

Can I go home yet??!!??

Yay party at Marcie's. I will bring the rum while Marcie supplies the plane.

Boy has this been one heck of a week. I am glad it is over! Looks like we are all invited to Marcies for drinks...rum drinks.

Oh man, did I miss the party at Marcie's? :sad2: I could have stopped by Arrow and headed down with some Rum too. :rolleyes1 I think I am more into the rum drinks now too. We used to be big into the margaritas. We got the recipe for the Presidente from Chili's. We did have a couple of those last night while watching "Grease" on TV... I know exciting night at our house.....

I was disappointed that Paris was voted off. I don't like her speaking voice, but I really like her singing. I also like Elliot, but I know he won't make it all the way. I can't stand Kat, don't know why a friend at work thinks its because she is tall, gorgeous and can sing. :confused3 ;) I really like Chris too, I love the first song he sang the other night!

Sandy, sorry I missed you at BB&B and Office Max. I was at work. We did run over to Kmart last night though and picked up a deck box. Didn't see you there....

Jrsy, have fun with your guys weekend. Just don't forget to do the dishes....

... and take the garbage out and make the beds!!! (for Jrsy) :thumbsup2

I do agree with Paris... I think she has a great singing voice but by the end I just could not listen to her talk. I think all of these guys are great singers but the top two, like I siad, Chris and Kat. I was shocked that you can't stand her!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: She just seems like the type that nobpody could hate. I am CONSTANTLY hearing stuff about Taylor. People just cannot understand when music is part of a persons life, how it becomes them (that came out sounding weird). Taylors actions drive alot of people nuts. He definately is the Blues Brother. I don't mind it but alot of people dp... including Simon I think.
OK... I am off to drink my latte and feed the squirrels so they are gone before Open House. Happy Day to all.

Jrsy - where is his favorite pizza place?
Frank the Pizza King on Broadway in Englewood. It's not NY style, but it beats Pizza Hut.

As long as we are confessing, I think I have a crush on Zooey Deschanel. Watched Elf last night; wasn't she cute? Loved her with dark hair in Hitchhiker's Guide, though.

Got a load of laundry in right now, in case you are worried, but the vacuuming will wait until right before I leave for the airport...

Hi everyone! I found the perfect thing to cheer me up today. I bought my gold shoes to go with my gold formal. They have 4 inch heals. I have never worn 4 inchers before. So, this should be interesting. They look great though.

Well I'm about to go to bed. I stayed up all night to get my reservations and I got everything I wanted!!! I got the fishing at CC. There was only one problem. The Regatta had always been in the morning in the navigators so I booked that private tour in the afternoon. Well the Regatta is in the afternoon on our tour, so I emailed Joyce to see if we could switch. I'll see how that goes. I also booked snorkeling in St. John, Palo brunch and dinner and a facial on formal day. Good night everyone. :goodvibes

Jrsy, pixie dust that the weather will be perfect for you tomorrow!
Thanks, it worked! The weather was great - not too hot & not too cool. They did shut down a bunch of stuff for about an hour due to lightning, but we still kept busy. We got there just after 11:30 and didn't leave until 7. It was weird to see beer being sold all over the place after WDW, but who spends $6 for a Budweiser? Of course Alex loved all the thrill rides - Mind Eraser, Boomerang, Sidewinder and Twister II - so it was a lot of fun for both of us. It was funny seeing adults nervous about the rides while a 9-year-old was totally excited about them.

Haven't done either yet. Trash has to go out to the curb tonight anyway, but I haven't made the bed all weekend!

Did we have fun at Marcie's?? I must have had a bit too much rum. I don't remember a thing. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Jrsy, sounds like you batchelors are doing ok. One more storm to survive through around 1 today and you will be fine.

Marcie, good to hear that MOST of your plans went through ok. Did you call or do it online?

I hope everyone had a great time last night!!

I got an email back from Joyce, the private tour, she said that was fine. She switched us to the morning so we are now all set. I can't believe I have all my reservations now!!! Now just to pay off the resort and I'm home free.

I love Sunday night TV, my favorite besides Idol. Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy.

I hope Cosmo is winning big in Vegas!!!!!!!!!!

Sandy, I forgot to add, I reserved online. I logged on about 10 til 2 CST and I couldn't reserve and then I got on at 2 and I could. :thumbsup2

I don't remember either Sandy. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Didn't do much yesterday, or today for that matter. I didn't feel very well yesterday. My stomach was bugging me. It is better today though. DD had a party to go to at Casa Bonita. One of the other girl's parents took them and then I went to pick them up. Boy, it has been a long time since I had been there. They of course had to play some more games so I was there for about an hour picking them up. I went to Home Depot today looking for trees for the back yard. I didn't get any, but I will probably go back later in the week and get some Austrian Pines. I need to get some more trees along the back fence (Pierce St. gets a little noisy from time to time).

Marcie, that is great you have all of your excursions set up! I can't wait for Grey's Anatomy either. I love that show!!!

Wow I thought it was just be who drank to much at Marcie's but I see I am not the only one who does not remember a thing. Marie did you slip us a mickey? :lmao:

I hope everyone had a great weekend. After tomorrow I will only have 4 more Mondays to work.

Jrsy let us know about Cosmo winning big. Wonder if he will have a poker chip to go with him. :confused3

Marcie - that is great that you got everything booked that you wanted, how exciting. I can't believe you got 4 inch heels, I could never walk in those...I would be making a scene falling and flashing everyone. I just cannot get coordinated enough to wear heels, I have very weak ankles and will twist my ankles just walking around wearing tennis shoes.

Cristi - yum, casa bonita....I love Mexican TV dinners. The food sucks but that atmosphere is great for kids.

Selena - only 4 more Mondays to work.... :rotfl2: I don't even want to count Mondays....maybe fridays. If I count the fridays I have left to work it would be 8, Mondays would be 17!!!

Jrsy - Sounds like you had a great day at Elitches. Is the waterpark open yet? Did you ride the Spiderman rollercoaster? I hate that one, everytime I go on that one I get a bigger bruise!!!!!

I had a great weekend. Friday night started at Jose O'Sheas and won some beads and t-shirts by putting and getting a hole-in-one. That was a cheap place, free food and a total of 4 margaritas and 2 Dos XX was $12.00. (no I did not drink all of that, it was split between 3 people!!!) Then we decided to go downtown to meet up with my friend's brother and sister-in-law at the Sports Column (a sports bar). I didn't want to go downtown because I thought it would be crazy with all the cinco de mayo celebrations and the baseball game but am glad I did. My boyfriend went to the baseball game and was in the suite (read free liquor and beer and free food) and his car was at his job because him and his boss drove together to the game. Chris had a little too much to drink so he walked to the Sports Column and I drove him and my best friend home.

Saturday we had the girls and Chris had to go to school to study for his final so as the girls put it, it was "girl time" and we went to Cici's pizza and went shopping. Sunday we went to IHOP and the headed across the street to the park and played tag, hide and go seek, and played on the playground structures.

Well, I just wore my 4 inch heels for about 30 minutes to show everyone at work and see how I walked in them. I did okay. But my feet were getting tired. I'm going to have to wear them a bit to get used to them. Did anyone watch Desperate Housewives last night?

Which one is the Spiderman rollercoaster? We went on all of them, but didn't see Spiderman anywhere. The only water ride that is open is that ridiculous flume ride where you basically go up a hill, around a turn, down an hill and get soaked. Not warm enough for that! The water park itself was still dry as a bone. I expect that it is still possible to have cold enough weather to freeze everything and monkey things up.

You were at the IHOP across from Clement Park? What time? We were there between 11:30 - 12:30!

Jrsy - I just looked, they changed the name to the "flying coaster", it is the orange one by the stunt show. Did you ride the half pipe? I love the flume ride, perfect ride to get soaked!!! I was at IHOP early, the girls are early birds and we were there at 7:30 am. I think I was still asleep and wasn't sure if the sun even shines that early on the weekend, turns out it does.
