By this time we have 30 minutes to make it back on the ship. Needless to say we are walking very fast but another bar calls our name. None of drank there but we did talk to some people on our cruise and had more pictures made. LOL
Finally we make it to the ship to see this huge line to get on the ship. I run to the bathroom and when I came out that sweet dog makes a run for it. I am thinking it is destine for me to have this dog. Please remember I had been drinking quite a bit without much food. Always a big NO NO for me. Her owner comes out. Oops. Seriously I was not going to take this dog. But she was very sweet.
We get in line and wait and wait. Jeff is working the line getting pictures of everyone with Sammy. He even gets a picture of a bride and groom holding Sammy. Very Funny.
We were having a deck part at sailaway. Needless to say 3 of us run up for the party. We do the congo line again. Our bartender was working which meant we could drink free for a nice tip. Alann would even let me come behind the bar and get beer. It was so funny. Alann took my sunglasses and flamingo beads and was wearing them around. Janet and I look up to see Barb coming with Julius our 6 foot monkey. LOL It was so funny. We had met up with a few girls at Fat Tuesdays and low and behold if they were not on our cruise and they had a 6 ft monkey too!! Here we are with both monkeys up there. It was so funny. After the party we go down for a much needed nap. I woke up so sick!! This was formal night. RED DRESS night. I had to suck it up and go. I took my shower and put on my dress and that was just about it. I did not do anything to my hair or put one dab of makeup on. At dinner I could hardly look at the food. I took a few bites. Our waiter was very worried about me. He is the one who wanted to take me home to his momma. LOL I could not doing the loving cup this night. THere was just no way. This was also meet the captain night. Free Champagne. I did get a glass but I literally held that flute for 3 hours and still had over half of it left! We left there and split up. Jeff and Janet went to gamble while Annmarie, Barb and myself took in the show. At that time we found out the next day we had to get in line to get tender tickets by 10:30 in front of the auction desk. After the show we met up with Jeff and Janet. I was feeling fine by this time but ready for bed. Jeff was drinking way too much and wanted to go party. I made him come to bed with me. Once we got in the room I set his butt straight. We were not going to split up like that when either of us had been drinking too much. This is the way things happen!! I knew had drank too much and I would have been worried to death about him.
I filled out my roomservice slip and put it outside on the door for the next morning. Slid out of my dress and crawled into bed. I have to say I did not drink like that anymore while on the cruise.
