Karen :grouphug: :grouphug: Thank you for the birthday card!!! And, it was Mickey too!!!! That was very sweet. You are getting soooo close to cruise time. :mickeyjum :goofy: :donald: :stitch: :simba: :tigger:

We went to a hibachi grill for my birthday last night. It was good. Then off to the mall to find Aerial's dress. It took about 10 tries and 3 stores to find the dress that really looked good on her. We got it at Foley's. It's really hard to fit a big 12 year old. In some places she's too big for some dresses and too small in other places. I am so happy now though that I have a formal for her, for the ball tonight and the cruise too. We didn't have time to get her shoes last night so my DH said he would bring her today while I was at work. Well the lucky man found the perfect shoes, the first store he went, Target. It isn't always easy to find women's 11 shoes. Then she got a pedicure and her hair fixed so now she's just waiting. I will post pictures.

I had been searching royal caribbean cruises that do the Eastern and a while back I had decided it would be fun to do the Navigator of the Seas. Maybe in a few years. Well I was talking to my friend who does our hair today and she is going on the Navigator of the Seas the same exact week we are cruising the Magic this year. It is tempting to change, but I really want to do the DCL. Is it true that DCL may not be going to Cozumel in March too? I sure hope we are going by July. My friend said that is one reason she picked the Eastern this year is because of Cozumel's damage.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Marcie you need to go on the Freedom of the Seas with me in November!! November 5-12. Theres a big group of us going on another board. But do not cancel you cruise in July. A Disney cruise is just awesome. But think if you go on the Freedom Ariel could hang with MacKenzie. Remember we have two rooms. The kids have their own room on this cruise.... :cool1:

Selena, I just looked at royal caribbeans website and searched your cruise and it said booked for a kid and for 2 adults the only available was an interior room. Could this be true this far out?

YES. It is a packed cruise. LOL But you can get on a waiting list or you can get a PR room. We have a balcony on deck 8 and the kids are in a pr across from us. Those rooms are nice. The window over looks the shops and you can see the activities from that window. I booked back in July.

Mmmmmm, have a BBC for me! No never mind. We are headed to Armadillo's. They will have a Malibu margarita with my name on it. :teeth: Go home and relax. Put your feet up and dream of cruising.
 Cupid's Passion :lovestruc
1 oz. vodka
1.5 oz. Chambord
3 oz. Cranberry Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a martini glass.

Mmmm...a couple of these will relax ya and if you share them with the right person, you'll understand where the name comes from. ;)

Drove past The Armadillo on Friday night...after a thrilling family excursion to Sam's Club! Friday nights aren't quite what they used to be. Heidi, can I live vicariously through you?

Hey everyone! Aerial had a really good time last night. And y'all were right I did tear up. They were all so beautiful. Here is some pics.

I'm glad it's over. It cost me a bunch of money hahaha. But at least she gets to wear it again on the cruise.

Selena, it's probably a good thing that the FOS is booked up because I really can't afford it. With us moving in 1 1/2 years I promised Dane I would start saving some money. I am going to try to do some kind of trip next year though.

Jrsy you crack me up. I hate those excursions with the kids to anywhere! Especially Sams, Costco or Wal-Mart.

One time when E was 4 he decided to crawl under the buggie at Sam's Club. We did not see him do it. One minute he was there ~and well~the next we was not. You talk about being scared !!! We were. MacKenzie and I ran to the next isle and Jeff went to the other isle. I was in tears. Mac and I came around to the isle Jeff is on and I see the little %#@& under the cart. He never once jumped out when we were yelling for him. Boy did this child get it for that. Now it is funny :lmao: but I am telling you then it was NOT!

Marcie, Ariel looks beautiful. I know you were proud too along with those tears.

OK I am off to the computer lab to tear teenagers.

Well, it took two of us enginerds with almost 30 years of experience between us, but we finally got our computer model up and running with no error messages today. That doesn't mean the OT is over, but at least some of the pressure is off (for now). Now I need to go home and have a drink! :drinking1
You are a enginerd???? I didn't know that!! What is your speciality? I recruit for mechanical, chemical, civil, hydraulic enginerds all the time.

Marcie - Aerial looks beautiful. Glad she had such a good time. Her dress was gorgeous, well worth the money.

Selena - your story about E and your shopping experience was hilarious!!! I would have killed that kid, but it is sure funny now!! :rotfl2:

Jrsy - of course you can live through me, but, can you really handle it???? ;)

Karen - take a breath.

Lulu - you too!!!!!

Structures...mainly bridges, but anything transportation related. Have you driven through the tunnel at Wolf Creek Pass? The tunnel wasn't mine, but the canopies over the portals are.

Oh, I'm sure I can handle it. But forgive me if I don't live the morning after through you... :headache:

Ooh, cross-posted with Marcie...its kismet!

Lulu, Robbie - how buried are you guys there in NJ? The photos I've seen look incredible! Hopefully you are both home drinking cocoa.

Robbie here - we got frosted with 2 feet of the white stuff! Personally I love it, being an avid snowboarder, but lulu not so much :p I took some video of the aftermath in town on my walk to lulu's. I'll get that posted up tonite when I get home. Right now lulu is baking me my valentines gift! Horay! :woohoo: :teeth:

Robbie - you have yourself a good woman, cooking treats for you....how sweet. I can't wait to see the pictures!!! I wish we would get snow dumped on us like that.

Jrsy - structural engineer.....yup have a few of those here!!!!!! Yes I have been to wolf creek pass, but not in the last few years. Next time I go up there I will have to admire your work.

Well, here's some footage of the snow-in! Its a huge file, about 75mb, which means a long download, and it is in a .rar file, which needs the program 'winrar' to open. The video is coded in an xvid codec, which can be viewed by installing ffd show. Its a simple program that enables the video part of vid files to be viewed in many cases. Download the ffd show codec directly here: http://www.free-codecs.com/download_soft.php?d=1230&s=50

I've personally checked to make sure this file wont do any damage to anyones system, so if u have the fast internet connection, im sure you'll enjoy.

Here's the link to the video: http://www.robkowalski.info/vacation/snow06.rar
Save the file to your computer, install programs if you have to, and voila, (easier said than done, i know) Sorry for such a big production. However, if you'll want to view all the cruise ship videos we recorded, you'll want to have all this now!
