I was a guarantee for the PC cruise and I only checked a couple of times. I didn't want to jinx myself.

Marcie I checked every few days for the September cruise because we had a SPR and I did not want an upgrade unless it was a balcony one. We ahve never been upgraded. I know you booked with Disney while on the ship but did you know you can transfer the reservation to an TA and get even omore of a discount and still keep your onboard credit? You need to email a few TA's and see what they can do for you. We saved another hundred and some dollars that way for our cruise.

Heidi, I realized last night I had never sent you an email about trip insurance, or at least I found one in my draft box on my mail. LOL I am nuts sometimes.

Like I said work right now is crazy. We are testing the Computer test which is a three week window and the IPT test which is a two month window. We have the writing test and the th comprehsive test all in March. Then we go directly into the Competencies. We get a small break and then we retest any senior who has not passed a state mandated test for graduation. THen we start the EOC's. EOC;s are going on while i am trying to get graduation in order. Plus both kids are playing basketball and will be signing them both up for our county baseball (Erik) and softball (MacKenzie). By May I will be counting the days until my summer break!! Thank goodness for my cruise on the Enchantment in April. I would go nuts otherwise.

Did I tell you guys I am going to the Keys for a while this summer. I have a friend whose sister lives there and has a guest house so a few are flying down there for a little vacation. Woo Hoo.

Karen I know you are busy but please check in with us.

Selena, I do use a TA. I use Dana. She saved us $300 more off of our price we booked while onboard. They Keys sound great. I will be in Key West in July during our cruise.

Selena - thanks for the email regarding insurance!!!! I just don't want to be screwed over!!!! How long are you staying in the keys? That would be so much fun, my sister stayed there for a week with her inlaws and had a lot of fun at a beach house. My boyfriend grew up in the Keys and his mom always wants us to come visit her and stay down in the keys!!!!

Mom -by chance are you going to Target today?

My sister comes in 2 weeks and Iam so excited.

OK... I am going by memory as my iPod is hooked up to the part od the computer where the USDISC (or whatever the heck it is) so I cannot cjheck exacts. My room and my sisters room is 5018 and 5016 and we have a port hole and and my other kids are across the hall.No window obviously. I may be off and they MAY be 5020 and 5018 OR 5016 and 5014. I am pretty sure we are the first set. Heidi Iknow you were wondering b/c you had been there. I will check it out next time I get on that part of the computer. Hold on guys, I NEED my espresso!!!
Well, I just found out an uncle of mine has 2 weeks to live. He is the last uncle in my family. My sister is VERY close to him and is feeling even worse b/c she said she will not change cruise dates. Like me, since my parents both died... we are having a TERRIBLE time with death. I guess she just talked to him and she wants to end it that way. It just gets so hard after a while. There are NO grandparents left, no parents, no aunts and now thisis the last uncle.I have 3 cousins maybe 5 somewhere else. I am the top dog... how bad is that? Not feeling real peachy right now. I may be nice, but I am NO Einstein. Being the head of the family (and my DH is 8 years younger than me!!) does not feel good.
OK... This is going down, so instead of pulling you guys under... I will go try to find something decent to wear to the salon.

OH... ONE more thing. I made a few CD's and figured it out ALL BT MYSELF (Eric Carmen sings that I think). THEN... I made my library for my iPod ad now I am trying to figure out which songs to put on there for me to listen to it.I do not know how many songs the iPod holds. As of now I have 1112 songs in my computer library and 523 on my iPod playlist thingy. Ineed to add a few more to the playlist but can't figure out how many it will take. Either way, yesterday I wasted the whole day burning my own Oldies CD's ... Grassroots, Tommy James, Sly and the Family Stone, It was great me in the car to work singing at the top of my lungs to all the songs (well... that was IF I remembered the words!!! )
OK one MORE thing... I am supposed to be getting my documents by tomorrow!!!

Actually, I've been swamped at work and drained by the time I make it home. The good news is all of the OT money goes directly into the vacation fund. I might feel more enthusiastic about that if it weren't almost a year away. I can't even see the light at the end of the tunnel yet. At least Marcie can see April 15th and look forward to that...

Something like that Robbie. Did you guys rebook why onboard? I forgot what LuLu said.

What you do is book onboard to chose your room and to get the onboard credit. Then you come home and contact a TA or several and tell them what cruise you have and ask them if they took over the reservation who much money could they save you? Normally it depends on when you are cruising and so forth on the amount you can save. We saved a little over a hundred but it looks like Marcie saved $300. It really depends on several factors. That is why I said for you to ask several TA's. Make sure they understand you do NOT want them taking over the ressie until you know how much they can save you.

Wow you guys have been busy. I loved our SPR on the cruise. It was nice. I always said the verandah did not make a difference to me because in the past I never was out there but when we went in September and it was just the two of us with no kids I missed it. I thought many times if I had the verandah I would be out there. I think without the kids I would use it more. We are not having a balcony room (RCI calls it balcony) on the Enchantment. But I think I will check to see about an upgrade. I did not do the balcony because I wanted on a certain deck. I wanted to be on the same deck as my friends are on. They have a suite. We are on opposite ends of the boat, but heck it is on the same floor... Anyway if they have one on the 8th floor I am so going to pay for an upgrade. Now our November cruise on the Freedom we have a balcony and the kids have a PR.

I think I am getting this nasty cold. My throat all of a sudden has started feeling real scratchy and my nose is stopped up. My eyes ae watering and I feel bad. I so can not be sick tomorrow. Since we had a dusting of snow today we did not get to start the second part of the computer test. School was two hours delayed and we were to test in the morning. Meaning we start the second part tomorrow. I have to be ther because I have to be in the room during testing.

I just got home from shopping. My dd has her first formal dance Saturday night and she just let me know this week that she wants to go. I have to work Saturday too. I got her an appointment to get her hair done but I still have to find her a dress. There was nothing here formal so I will have to go tomorrow night to the other mall 30 minutes from here. Hopefully I can find her something. And, she can wear it again on the cruise. Tomorrow is my birthday too so we are going to fit in a dinner. Wow, I've got a busy couple of days ahead.

I did not get an upgrade and my hair looks great!!! I haven't even looked at the docs yet believe it or not. I am going to wait until tomorrow. Going to relax tonight and clean...hahahah!
