Hurricane. The port is beat up real bad. Other ships are going there (Carnival etc..) but Disney wants it perfect (which is not a bad thing I guess). There is the first Disney ship going out Feb 11th but they think there is going to be a problem with tenders. So, this is REALLY throwing a wrench in my engine. I was going to go snubadiving and to the Ruins. I have alot of homework to do on Costa Maya/.

Yes, our Walmart is open. We still do not have Dillards though.
My DH took me away from my office to lunch today and we ran by Walmart. I asked a lady in the shoe dept. and she said they have not received any blinking flip flops this year. Have any of you seen them this year?

Should I feel guilty that I was thinking of you guys while I was with my wife?

I have to go try that ice cream, Ben and Jerry's is only a few blocks away from my work!!! At work we have ice cream sales for $1 a scoop or $1.25 for 2 scoops and you can choose Jack Daniels!!!! I have tried it and it is strong Jack Daniels!!!

Okay Karen, I don't want you disappointed but my time at Costa Maya was horrible. I chose to get a taxi and go to Majuhula (don't know the spelling) and I went horseback riding. I would warn you to bring bug spray because when I was there I was eaten alive by fleas, so bad that my legs were covered in red swollen welts. It was horrible having to walk around for the rest of my cruise in pain and my legs all nasty. I went to the spa to see if they could help me and they even freaked out about my legs....luckily our friend had the Walt Suite and they took me in and let me use their huge tub to soak in. The people were pushy (like normal straw markets) but the town was so dirty. On our horseback ride (not suggested to take) they take you around "m" town and it is very poor and dirty. Trash in the ocean, yuck. Hopefully 2 years later it is in better condition and have more excursion choices. I did read that people like the jeep tour excursion there. You can also take like a 3 hour drive and go to the ruins. I heard the ruins were pretty cool. I would not snorkle either, not very many fish when I went. The little shopping area at the Port was cool but didn't spend much time there. They have a huge pool that you can lounge in and drink at with shops, and they have "street performers" that dance and chant in their native way. I am sure it has gotten to be a lot better in the 1 1/2 years since I have been there, but that is just my experience.

I agree with Heidi about Costa Maya. It was just plain dirty once you left the port area. Ted and I went to a beach and it was ok but just down away was a little town that we walked to where we found trash all over the water. It makes me sick to think that we were in that same water just a few yards down. The shopping district right at the port was nice and clean. We didn't do much there because it started to rain. Heidi got bit so bad. You can't even imagine how bad she was. Our friends that she went with got bit bad too but not as bad as Heidi.

Cozumel though is suppose to be one of the best driving meccas along with the Caymans. I do not dive so I would not know way too scared of sharks! I will snorkel but I am even scared of that.

I found the site. Now to decide which one to get. Aerial wants the green ones with the stripes. I am trying to figure out what I would be wearing since I would want to match LOL.

Almost...you just need to make sure that if you edit it, you keep the [ and the ] and everything between them at each end of what you are trying to quote (see how you only kept the one at the end?). Also, you can use "preview post" to see if you got it right and keep toying with it until you do.

How foolish can they be? I think it is so funny. I actually misspelled words in my first reply just to see if they would jump on it. Hence, my comments about reading between the lines. Oh these people need to get a life. How childish they are. I am so sorry you had to deal with them on your cruise. How awful for you. They have done every single thing I expected from them. We at work are laughing at their childishness. It is so funny. I wonder if they know how many people think they are nuts? Or laugh at them? I would be ashamed of myself if I was them. But character lives up to class. LOL They might have money but they do not have class.

They have me so worked up again. I just hate it. I am not going to go back and post. I read it but I am NOT going to post. They love getting to people and they succeeded. He is so nasty. NASTY!!!
