I LOVE any pumpkin dessert i think. Pumpkin pie Blizzards, pumpkin shakes, pumpkin spice Latte's (i had one last weekend), pumpkin pie cheesecake, pumpkin bread. LOL That's what I look forward to November for, well that and my anniversary. You know what else I love, pumpkin shower gel. Ok I'm one pumpkin loving monkey.

Hi guys, just checking in. It has been very busy around here but think things will begin to slow down. Sorry to hear about all you sickies. Don't you just hate this time of year?

The funeral went pretty good. The only thing that upset me was during the service when they only addressed "that" sides name and not us, her immediate family. Thought that was very distasteful and brought it to the attention of the funeral director. They KNEW that they were dealing with two different families. Oh well, everything else was perfect. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

Marcie, the gift brochure is usually in with the docs. but I did read somewhere that it is listed on the DCL website.

We need to decide all the details of our exchange. I think we should go ahead and put our name inside the package and not keep it a secret. Should we open BEFORE Christmas or ON Christmas? If it is before, let's pick a day where we can open and then post it here. That way the name will remain a secret until everyone has received their gift. Let's vote!!!!!!

I think since it is an ornament we will need to open it when we get it. What do you guys think? I will wait though if you think we should.

I can't wait to go next Friday and buy my ornament for.....oh yeah I can't say for who...

Welcome to our thread Jamzots. We are just a bunch of friendly funky monkeys.

I think we should open before Christmas but on the same day. We could all post when we get them in and then when everyone gets them we can open them. My vote is for us all to open them at the same time. I won't have mine though until I get back from my trip probably.

We are all still battling these colds. My ear is still stopped up. I am feeling better though. Aerial is still not feeling too good. I guess if we aren't all better we will go back to the doctor this Friday.

I am almost at single digits. Went shopping this weekend and I think I am just about set. I finished printing all the door magnets and then read that they possibly may not let us hang them. I sure hope they do. I really think my DH & DD are going to be so surprised with their gift baskets from Shirley I doubt they ever thought of that especially without seeing the gift brochure. I have almost slipped a few times. It's getting tough.

Selena, enjoy your first day back to work. Sandy & Heidi here's another hug Lulu I sure hope you got some rest and you are feeling better. Karen, hope you had a great weekend.

Hi all, sorry I have been MIA for awhile. I took off Thursday and Friday from work. The funeral was so irritating that made me even sadder because they didn't even address the family who was truly related to my grandma. When we were at the cemetary, an unexpected friend from our campground was waiting for another funeral when they saw us and she asked someone who had passed away and someone from "the other side" said Phyllis ________ (other side's last name). I said loudly no my grandma, Phyllis ________ (her real name). I was so mad when I heard that person say the other name that I couldn't keep my mouth closed anymore.

Selena - I am so sorry about your vacation. That sounded like a vacation from hell!!!! Could it have gone anymore wrong???!!!??? Sorry to hear about your uncle.

Thanks for all your thoughts, prayers, and sympathy. It definitely helps my mom and I through this difficult year.

Good morning everybody!!!! I have been busy this past weekend and I knew alot was going on with you guys! I was going ape (hahaha ) trying to make time to get to the computer and it just didn't happen!
Marcie!!! I am SO excited for you!!!Time is almost there! Make sure you send pictures of your door magnets. You ordered your baskets, right?? How is everyone feeling??? Excited I bet!!! I have pumpkin candles all over the house at the moment. Pretty soon I will be changing to more of a Thanksgiving smell, whatever that may be. . . no, JrsyBoy . . . not turkey smell. I don't even think they sell candles that smell like a roasting turkey. HHmmmm that is a good idea!!! Light it and impress the neighbors, pop your little turkey pot pie in the microwave and they will never know the difference! You will be the envy of the neighborhood even if you can't cook!!! It sure will smell like you can!!!
Heidi and Sandy . . . wow . . . don't even know what to say except I am glad that week is over for you. Man!!!! from all of us. As far as the ornaments go . . . I agree, let's all open on the same day. I like the Sunday idea. How about Marcie deciding the day because of her trip. I am so ready for this. Just need to go shopping. Heidi and I plan to shop this weekend. Just watch, a couple of you will probably end up with the same ornament. We talked and we both have the same idea in mind. It's good to be back on and nothing sad going on except for all you sickies! No more hurricanes and no more deaths!! Nothing but sunshine ahead.

So now I have a confession. Last week we ran to Costco and I bought individual cans of pineapple juice. Well, then at Walmart I bought the cranberry juice. And um, then Heidi went to a liquor store and bought an off brand of coconut rum to sample. I am now ready for any occasion.

I am so far behind on everything since my mom passed away. Today I start in doing my routine.

Aerial really wants to see the Lion King Show at AK. We plan on getting the transportation from AK instead of our hotel to get to the port. I sure hope this works out because we didn't plan to go to AK any other day.

DARN IT!!!! I have to go do ANOTHER drug test AGAIN. My name came up last month and now AGAIN for November. How can that be right? The same exact names all came up again. Our specialist called to see if that was correct and she said yes, it is all random. How can the same exact names randomly come up again a month later, random my butt.
