Hey guys, I need some fashion advise.

I was told that it is now a fashion no-no to wear black hose for formal wear. What do you think? I have a black long formal dress and a black knee length semi formal dress and I don't know if I should wear black hose, tan or no nylons at all. Should I wear flipflops? Help me please.

Really... if you have nice legs.. like I do at my ripe age of 47, I would wear panty hose and sexy shoes. I would get the nude colored hose (to match skin tone) and show them puppies off!!! Oh. It is a long formal. OK, I still would wear skin tone pantyhose.

OH!!! Did they add this little guy for us??? He is new, isn't he??! He even has his own flask!!! I am SURE they did this for us !!!! Hahaha

I agree! Nude looks nice! However, if you're doing sexy open toed strappy shoes, PLEASE do the naked leg thing, no pantyhose, no matter how formal the occasion!

I hate pantyhose with open toed shoes!

Why wear panty hose on a cruise? I hate panty hose so my vote is wear no panty hose One more thing, don't wear panty hose and flip flops.

Karen - I have never seen that smiley before, I love it and still can't find it!!!!!

Hope Selena is having a great time. I know here in CO it has been raining all night and supose to rain all day.

Thanks guys, I guess I might have worded it funny. No hose and flip flops that is for sure! Karen, NO, I don't have nice legs at 52 cuz I just lost 62 pounds. They are all wrinkly. Long dress I can do without pantyhose but the knee length one needs hose. Lulu won't like that!! What color? My heels are definitely strappy.

I am home and totally wiped out guys. It is hard on ya when you drive 4 hours down on one day and attend a concert until late and hardly get any sleep and then drive another 4 hours home the next day. Heck we did Myrtle beach in less than 24 hours. I am so tired!!

I notice this guy the other day when I was doing Karen's birthdya post.

It has been in the low 90's here. I had to come back from MB to have my toes painted. LOL Boy I think I picked a wild color. I am so not wild. Well I am not really wild in that way! I foudn this neat butterfly on a chip and decided to have him painted on my toes. The background color was a shimmering little colored aqua. I did not pay any attention to what she did to my toes. They are now BRIGHT aqua with a small yellow butterfly on them with poka dots! Oh my goodness. I wil leave it on for a week and then I will have to take it off. There is just no way I can keep it on more than that. It is a good thing we are needed to the mountains tomorrow and in a river!

Well guys have a good weekend and I will check ya on Sunday night or Monday morn!

How funny- my kids (4 and 2) drink cranberry (DD2) and pineapple (DS4). My son is on a special diet for food sensitivities and drinks tons of pineapple juice (100% Dole). Can't imagine they wouldn't carry that! I live in Florida (not totally tropical, but not too far from Key West!) and how would you do a cruise without pineapple juice!!

A quick hello to all!
First, Marci, good luck on your surgery and let us know how it goes. We willl all be thinking of you.

Next, pmcelhone~ I am here in Tampa area and was also thinking they MUST have pineapple juice on the cruise, and they do. But, yeah, we are all going on a tropical cruise... we need tropical drinks.

Speaking of which...I was at the little fruit stand today and talking to this older man ( just because I had a birthday doesn't mean I have to think I aged!!! ) and he was telling me that when he was in college, they would pack a mason jar with maraschino cherries and then add 151 Rum to it and shake it up and let it sit for 3-4 days. Then they would eat the cherries. He said it was great!!! I told him I was going to have to try it. I also said, when I try them I will think of you... he said, not after a couple of them you won't!! I thought you guys would LOVE this idea and we could make a smaller jar and bring them on the ship can't we? If we seal the lids? They would be great in our drinks!!!

Oh~ guess what I got for my birthday? A travel shaker!!! I am now almost all set to go!!!

This made me laugh. My ex boyfriend use to work at a bar his neighbor owend and we learned to soak the cherries in Everclear!!!!! Watch out for those!!!!
