We made final payment on our PC vacation Sunday. Recieved the documents yesterday by email and printed them today. I guess now that it is paid for I can finally get excited. Don't get me wrong I have been excited to some point, but it has been hard for me to reconcile spending out this much for a vacation when the economy is so terrible. Plus with Mac turning 16 I could have paid for her car and then paid the insurance payments for a year and half if we were not going on this vacation. I really am trying not to regret the cost and expensive of this vacation. We have decided this is our last big vacation for some time. We do have a few cruises booked and we will go on those otherwise we are cutting back and going to work on paying off bills.

Then my great aunt is in the hospice up at Lutheran so I have gone up to visit her a couple of times. When I went on Friday she was imparting her wisdom to me. It was a nice visit.

I am sorry to hear about your great aunt. I do want to tell you that Lutheran's hospice is great. That is where my father, Ted's father and our friend was for their hospice stay. They are so caring and giving there. to both the patients and the friends and family. If I am correct, it is now in the new bldg and not the hospital which would make it even better.

The airline tickets dropped today and I bought them!!! We have tickets and we have our dinner ressies too! I will post what they are when Debbie sends me the itenerary. She called and got them.

Cristi, I forgot that Ted's uncle was in Lutheran Hospice at the same time our friend was. Believe me, all in 2 years. We knew the nurses very well!

Selena - that is great you paid off your vacation, get excited!!!! You deserve a vacation. We decided this is our last cruise for awhile so we are in the same situation as you. We will take a few trips to Mexico with my parents which is a lot cheaper!

Heidi, Xcaret, here we come!!!! Akumal to snorkel with the turtles and Chichen Itza for the ruins. Do you think Chris's spring break next year will be in March? How soon will he know? I probably can't make reservations until Jan 10 anyway. Then there is Cozumel for a nice beach break.

Aerial may be going on her first date tomorrow. I am really excited about it because she is so shy and she is actually looking forward to it. The boy is her best friends first cousin, so I know him. He is shy and intellectual like her. They've been texting back and forth for a week or two. I was teasing her the other day and I said I never dreamed she would get a boyfriend before me, she got embarrassed and made a point to let me know he was NOT her boyfriend. So, I haven't said too much since then, but it's still fun to watch. Jeri asked her what they are going to talk about since neither one of them talk. LOL She said she's not worried about it, they have plenty to say in text.

In 6th grade Mac had this BF and they only waved at one another in the hallways at school. They never spoke on the phone or even at school. It was so cute.

Jrsy - I have to do the cheesy over the hill gifts! That is just how our relationship is! My sister isn't doing the cheesy over the hill party so I am not sure how many people are going to get hoim the gifts (she specified no gifts on the invitation).
