I have the same issue as Samantha of looking young. When I had the practice with my hair for the wedding, they thought I was going to prom and were shocked it was for my wedding. Then when my step daughters and I had our nails done for the wedding, the people that were doing their nails commented on how nice it was that their sister took them out to get their nails done. I get tired of it, but soon I am sure I will enjoy it!

You will so love it when you are old like me. I've always looked younger then I am -- it has just been recently that I don't feel I look younger. BUT, I know I look younger then ALOT of people that are my age! LOL!
Our oldest son looks younger then he is..... He loves it now that he is 28.

I know I mentioned last year during hurricane season. Please feel free to come this way. I live off of 360/287 in Mansfield.
We moved to a very large home this past February and have a lovely guest suite that you and your dd could use. Or if she wanted she could hang out upstairs with my kids. (17dd, 10ds & 7dd) Playing Guitar Hero in the theater room.

My battery totally died last night. I had my phone pulled in but the battery was so done it would not let me use what charge it had to text. I think I was draining it quicker than it could charge.

I did hear from Marcie just a bit ago. She said they are OK and all. Boy that was a relief to hear that.

It still does not sound good there.

I woke up this morning worried about Marcie and Aerial, the news didn't sound all that good so I rushed to my phone. Thankfully there was a txt from her saying they are okay, but it is not the end of the storm. Continued prayers.

Stephanie - that is such a sweet thing to offer that to Marcie.

I have not heard from her in a while. I am going to have to text her. I was trying to stop texting her so much.

Aeriel burnt herself last night on the lantern. I think she is OK. I know she had a water bottle on it when my phone died last night.

From what we are hearing the big worry right now - for a lot of the areas affected -- is the fact that the water is still rising.

We are getting rain from the hurricane/storm but, thankfully (for my 7dd who is deathly afraid of storms) the bad part up here is to the East of us.

Around a million people are without power. Many will not have the power restored for quite a while -- for some it may be weeks.

Thank GOD it dropped to a Cat 2 when it landed. \

I can't imagine the fear that I would have on leaving my home and wondering what is happening to it and everyone thing else.

Yeah she texted me to tell me she was shutting it down for a while. I am unsure if the burn is bad. She told me about it when my phone was dying. I meant to say I have not heard from her since she cut off her phone.

I did hear from her and she said they are still OK.

Stephanie when Faye came thru here we recieved 9 inches of rain in about 8 hours and we are in NC. Faye came ashore in Florida. Then we got another 3 inches from Hanna. We seem to be green again here....what I was going to say though was the rain is going to be the kicker with the flooding.

Hey who knows Jeff might wind up meeting Marice before I do!! lol He was told to be packed and ready to go. I seem to think it might not happen but that is because I want him to go because we could use that money.

I made my first door sign today. My group voted on naming ourselves the Privateers. I bought a foam black team flag. It is lined in white. I put a skull on it and in foam letters spelled on the Pride but the I is a silver glittery sword. I then put a foam glitter red X above it and X made of bones under it.

I also got all of my dresses together, my dressy shirts and my casual shirts together today.

We have 19 rooms reserved. 36 people are going. Susan and I am making a goody bag for each cabin. I bought some really neat black drawsting bags with a priate on the front. I only have 6 of those and I am giving them to my friends I have cruised with before. The others are just getting a party bag. I have bought lanyards, rubberband bracelets, mini beach balls, a special shot glass & pirate Mardi Gras beadsfor our TA (he is going). I have 3 punch balls too with a pirate on them. 5 deck of pirate playing cards. I have a pin the eyepatch on the pirate game for us. We are doing that after the pub crawl. I have eye patches for everyone. lol I also have bought a pirate beard and some silver and pink skull and crossbones beads. I also bought an inflatable sword. lol I bought some of that tape like police use but it says beware of pirates. lol Oh yeah almost forgot the lei shot glasses and the skull drink shaker. I found those at the dollar tree.

Selena, it would be so much fun to cruise with all of you guys. You seem to have such a good time. I want to do so much like cruise with all you funky monkeys, cruise with our TX friends, Mexico, Alaska, camping in Canada with Heidi and Chris, cruise with DCL in 2010 to the Baltic. How can I figure out how to do it all????? Then Ted retires in a couple of years. We want to travel with our 5th wheel extensively in the East. So much to do with little time and it takes money for all. LOL Wouldn't that be something if Jeff meets Marcie before you??!!

News comes on in a half hour. Anxiously awaiting hearing it. Haven't heard a thing all day since we have been away all day. Marcie never is out of my mind. I truly mean that.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Have not heard from Marcie yet today but it is early.

I know what you mean Sandy. It takes all that we have to do the cruises we go on. Jeff is not too happy about being broke all the time. lol Seriously though we are going to cut back. In 2009 we only have 2 short cruises planned and those are all in the spring. If we go on another it will be in the fall of 2009 and it will only be something very cheap and short. I have 2 7 day cruises booked for 2010 but we are going to cancel one. My friends are all doing the Oasis in November 2010 and that one is more important than the 2/2010 Dream cruise to me. The Oasis is Royal Caribbean's new ship that is coming out (I think) in the beginning of 2010. It is huge. The size of a ship does not matter to me but this ship is really huge holding like 5000 people. Each port they will go to will be docked not tendered. It has a zipline and 2 flowriders (surfing pools).

I have Mac's 16th birthday in April on the Fascination and with the booking of the Oasis Erik will be on a cruise for his 16th birthday. Woo Woo.

OK, I am off to take my daughter to church and to attempt to find some gas for my car. Had a run on gas here on Friday and most places are out. I am hoping they have recieved a shipment. The store up the street is $4.95 a gallon

Marice sent another text telling me a store is going to open. I am thinking it must be close. She said they are only letting in one person at a time so they will be in line for a while.

She has food and water but the ice is almost gone. She said the mosquitos are horrible. I offered to mail some Off but there is no telling when the mail service will be up and running.
