Selena, yes, we can go to any Occidental resort. They are adding Cabo San Lucas and Puerta Vallerta (oh my, I slaughtered the sp, I think I am having a senior moment ) and another one. They have resorts in the Dominican Republic,, Aruba and I believe Cuba. Then, they have hotels in Europe. The amount of money per day depends on the time of year and the location. For Mexico, the Grand Xcaret can run about 75.00 per day, Grand Cozumel can run 60.00 per day. I think those are the off season prices but don't quote me. Oh yes, I forgot to add a very important part. You can't book until you are within 60 days. We can for our first week and any after that we should book within the 60 days or it costs more.

Marcie, good to hear that you got personal satisfaction doing Dane's taxes!! You are so correct, it's good to have the bosses son behind you!! Don't worry, I will watch BB and check Josh out. He better be a good guy and not like the dad on the last one!!

I went to lunch with my step-mom and she gave me a bottle of Vera Wang's Princess perfume for my birthday!!! I have wanted that for so long. I LOVE the smell AND it is called Princess, how more perfect can it be for me.

Can anyone help me? I copied some pictures off Trip Advisor and wanted to print them. King Soopers said that they were not the right size and they didn't print. So when I got home, Ted and I checked and we can print 4X6 pictures of them on plain white paper but unfortunately we found our printer not printing correctly on the glossy photo paper. Anyway, does anyone know how to adjust the pictures for a store?

Just got back from trying to print the pictures as Costco and their computer said it was a resolution problem. Guess I will have to work with that.

Today was a better day than yesterday. I think I am just looking forward to this weekend.

Sandy, we have actually looked at the Occidental resorts. I think it was in Cancun and Dominican.

Believe it or not we are trying to figure out what to do in the summer of 2010 for vacation. lol This year we have Myrtle Beach for the week of the 4th of July. Then the big Mexican Riviera cruise in November. Remember this is our big 40 year so Jeff and I are doing this as a celebration. In Spring of 2009 is Mac's birthday. We will go to the beach again the summer of 2009. We will probably sneak in a short cruise in the fall of 2009. Then we have 2010....wonder what we will do. MacKenzie wants to go to Ireland. Not sure if I can afford that in the summer of 2010. lol

Jeff and Erik have one of the many colds I have had this year. Jeff has to get better. We are going away this weekend.

Selena, we love Occidental (obviously) but if you read trip advisor there are several negative reviews. For the life of me, I can't figure it out. I honestly think that the competition plants negative reviews. All your plans make me jealous. We only have the Occidental plan for Nov and a cruise in Sept 2009. Poor us! Hope Jeff and Erik get better soon!

Cristi, don't push yourself. The crud going around is so hard to get rid of. Tell Brad that you shouldn't push yourself and that he needs to take you out to dinner.

Cristi - Thurday would be better for me to get the cookies. Friday I will be skiing and Chris is taking me to my favorite restaurant (Cheesecake Factory) for Valentine Dinner since he has to go to school on thursday.

Selena - I know for sure that 2010 will be a vacation somewhere with Occidental and my parents!! 2009 we are taking the girls on a cruise.

Wow, one day I will have a stable life again. 2010 vacation...I don't even know if I'm doing anything this year. Seriously thinking about taking the year off from vacations to make sure my money is okay.

Did I tell you that Joshua graduated from the same high school as me? Hopefully he can last a while.

I thought Big brother & American Idol were both really good. There are some good singers this year.

Marcie, I respect you for maybe skipping a vacation this year to get the finances in line. Credit cards are so tempting to use for vacations but can get people into trouble. Make sure you still take time off and have some fun even if it is at home.

Really we do not have much planned. This summers beach trip is with our points and we will stay free. It is a cheap vacation. Otherwise we would not be going. The cruise is where our money is going this year. We are getting $300 off of the April 2009 cruise and Mac's friend is paying for her part of the cruise. Very cheap vacations.

Marcie you are being smart. I have to say if we had not planned our November cruise and have a huge group of friends going with us we probably would wait. It is costing a small fortune. Airfare was over $600. The cruise was not that bad but the air hurt us. Then the excursions are going to cost because I want to do one in every port, we do not normally do that.

Yes they do. Remember a lot of times where we live we can drive to some ports. Which make the cruises more reasonable.
Excursions are sometimes so high. I know the West Coast/Mexican Riviera cruise will be a once in a life time thing for us so I know we will want to do excrusions in every port.

We had thunder snow. Out of school today for a whole inch of snow. Bad thing is Jeff told me he sent me Roses and candy. I will not be able to get them until tomorrow. Boo Woo. He never does things like this so I am sad. lol Hope someone is at work to at least get all of those flowers coming into school today.

WHAT!!! Closed school for an inch!! We have over an inch and are suppose to get 2 to 4 more inches and our schools are opened!!

Selena - that is so sad that you won't get your flowers delivered to you. Jeff did good! I made Chris promise he won't do anything, we need to save money for the wedding!
