Heidi, I've already told you, but I have to repeat, I LOVE your colors. It made me reconsider my choices - it looks so unique, clean and fresh and bright. I just love it. The green is like a margarita green - it's not overly lime green or clashing, it is the most gorgeous shade of sunshine filled green! Love it!!!! PLease post as many pics and you can bc I love your taste!!

I think I even bit off a little more than I can chew this year. I'm trying to lose weight, teach, 2 grad school classes, still working at Curves and doing Avon and this week I had to move into a new classroom on top of it all. So, I really had no free time. I even had bleeding feet bc I tried to do it all in heels. So, I made some time to buy flats this weekend! That was necessary! My aunt is in the hospital - still confused and she has a blood clot in her heart. She's doing ok now, but anything could change if a piece breaks off again. I'm really sad about this - I don't really want to believe anything bad could happen.

Well, I'll be on doing lesson plans if anyone needs me. I have my aim while I work, so that's the best way to get me if anyone wants to.

Selena - how the heck are you going to learn to use your new phone????!! It looks so complicated. I have definitely learned that if I don't like the person I am talking to regarding customer service, then I will call back to see what the new person says. That sucks you got sick, I am glad you are feeling a little better today.

LuLu - thanks, I love the colors as well!!! I will post more pictures when the time comes and I get more!! Girl, you need to not do so much, you need to take a breather, remove some things off your plate and start planning the wedding!!!! It will be fun with both of us planning stuff around the same time, we can talk!!!

So my mom and dad SUCK!! I am mad at them right now, the high here is suppose to be 50 degrees and raining...and they will be arriving in FL this afternoon in warm weather like 90's. Poo on them!!!

Dh bought me a domain name a few years ago and it still has nothing on it........www.stepht5.com...... That has been my screen name for about 13yrs or so. I liked my first screenname better but, ds (14 at the time) heard me say I was thinking about making a new name and deleted my old one! ACK! I will never forget how angry I was at him -- the emails I lost! LOL! It took all I had to walk away from him at that time... LOL!

I have a feeling it is going to be a quiet couple of weeks.
Not much going on here. Just busy with work, school and now Girl Scouts has started back up. Brad is redoing some stuff on our sprinkler system and trying to fix the leak we have so we have a nice hole dug in our front and back yards where the boxes are. I hope he can get a bunch finished with that this weekend. I keep having this vision of our dog tearing out the back door, stepping in the hole and breaking something.

Anyone hear about the hurricane that I was just in? I found out about tropical storm Humberto Wed. afternoon. It was supposed to come through around midnight, no big deal. I was woken to very strong winds that sounded like a hurricane and we lost power. Come to find out before it hit it was upgraded to a strong Cat 1 hurricane. I just got power on 1 1/2 days later. Gotta love an oven and A/C. I'm cooking, done blow dried my hair and washing clothes. LOL. I don't live on the gulf coast for nothing I guess. Keeps life exciting. Power is still off at my work, so I'm off until it gets back on.

Hi, everyone else!!

Here's an update on me if anyone wants to see -

Well, I have my engagement party Oct. 6, so we're planning that.

My mom and I are making chocolate engagement rings (shaped molds) and kids sushi favors because it is at a Japanese Steakhouse (reminds me of Teppanyaki in Epcot). Kids sushi is a dessert they serve in California grill. Basically you make rice krispie mix and instead of putting it in a pan to set, you put it on a green fruit roll up and add swedish fish and roll it and cut it into rounds like sushi!!

I also have a kimono style dress to wear. We're having people fill out wishes for us on white cards and we have an Asian looking treasure box to put them in. I got Rob a tie that matches one of the main colors in my dress. I am really excited. I also have a money plant that I am going to put in an empty really pretty sake bottle to decorate the cake/favors table. (The kids sushi and chopsticks favors my friend is making and personalizing for me.)

So, I am excited about this party first. Then, wedding details will follow after. Although, I do have my tiara and ring bearer pillow already.

I have all that jewelry - except the earrings. I won't be wearing the necklace for the wedding, though. I will probably wear my grandmother's. I might wear the bracelet though. And I am definitely wearing that tiara!!! I love it!

We are 90% sure we're doing a Disney wedding, though. I am really excited and I will keep you all updated when I can.

I'm glad it was only a day and a half! LOL! A few summers ago the DFW area lost power for a long time.... We were without power for 5 days....

I'm glad that you didn't get any flooding! I saw Galvaston on the news and it looked terrible!!! And I do remember Rita! I have an online aquaintnce that lost her house because of Rita.
