Work!!!! OK got that off my chest. I have worked 2 10 hour days and I am so tired. I was able to leave today with all my work done and only worked 15 minutes OT. I think I have things caught up for the enrollment process but I am off a half day on Friday. Which means I will have a mess on my hands on Tuesday!!



Happy Labor Day everyone. Not sure if I will have the time to check back in. We go to a baseball game tomorrow then leave for the beach on Friday.

Were you inspired to finish so you wouldn't be lugging the book on your trip and have it put your luggage over the weight limit? We have just the last chapter and the epilogue to go, so we'll be done soon.

I hope everyone is having a fun weekend! We don't normally go anywhere for holiday weekends. So, we are relaxing at home! This afternoon everyone in the house is getting haircuts. That will probably be the highlight of our weekend.

We usually go to the Labor Day picnic at the K of C hall on Monday.

I had a very boring week last week in training. If I could have gone when I requested it (3 years ago) it would have been good, but since I have been doing it for 3 years it was a really basic class for me. We had a busy but good weekend. I am sure my sister is glad it is over. My parents pulled the trailer back last night and it was a very stressful drive. (I will let my mom tell you about it.) But now I am back at work and can't wait to leave next week for vacation!!!

Marcie - how was WDW? Can't wait to hear about your trip. I thought about you all weekend long. Did you get to see Shane before you left?

Selena - we need to start emailing each other again now that you are back at work. Did you still have access to your old email or do I have to send you an email somewhere else?

Not finished yet; hopefully by next weekend. We took out the old shower insert because it had cracked in several places, so the water was leaking behind it. Even though the drywall was in good shape except at the very bottom, we ripped it out around the shower and replaced it with waterproof and mold resistant drywall. I got the taping and spackling done over the weekend and Tammy was sanding it today. Hopefully after a few touch-ups tonight, we'll be able to prime, then paint, then install the new insert.

It was stressful for us majorly. We blew our banks system on the truck that adds more power for us when pulling the 5th wheel. We cruised down the shoulder of the interstate at 35mph for quite a distance. We made it to a grocery store parking lot where later in the evening Ted was able to fix the truck. Luckily, Heidi was behind us to rescue us! THANKS HEIDI!!

I am home. I will have to post more later. I have to get my pictures on my computer still. It rained some everyday but it was only bad once. I spent some time with my friends, but my favorite parts were at Magic Kingdom where Aerial and I spent the whole day alone together. We needed time just by ourselves. We laughed so much. It was the best WDW trip ever, just because it was relaxing.

I did not end up seeing Shane before we left, but he took me to lunch today and he brought me back a shotglass from Mexico. I brought him a shotglass back from Disney too. LOL. It was nice to see him again. He's leaving tomorrrow and will be back here next Wed. We are planning on going out over the weekend next weekend. I really have no expectations, but he's fun. Once his job is over here, he will be going about an hour from here. But, for now I am enjoying it.

What day do you all leave for the cruise?

Yay, the disboards are back up. It was down all morning long.

Marcie - my mom and dad leave on Monday for vacation, and my sister's family and Chris and I leave on Thursday. After today, I will only have 4 days left to work!!!! I can't wait to see pictures and here more about your trip, definitely a well deserved vacation for you two. So nice to hear that you made some great memories with Aerial.

Skellington...I had to correct you myself because from Aerial you would have received the eye roll, too.

She'll have a long way to go to catch up to my collection but I wouldn't discourage her. Tammy has found me some pretty obscure stuff, like the watch I am wearing and the stuffed Oogie Boogie, so I'll have to ask her where she finds it. Does she have a birthday coming up?
