Well my first full week back to work went well. Next week is the big test. That is the week when students are back at school.

I have been laying low. I have not been on line much. I have been reading and chillin at the house. lol

Double Berry Martini

1 tub CRYSTAL LIGHT Raspberry Ice Flavor Low Calorie Soft Drink Mix 2 cups water 2 cups reduced calorie cranberry juice 1/2 cup vodka 2 cups club soda or sparkling water 6 frozen cranberries
EMPTY drink mix into large pitcher. ADD water, cranberry juice and vodka; stir until drink mix is completely dissolved. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled. STIR in club soda just before serving. Spoon cranberries evenly into 6 martini glasses; top with the beverage mixture.

That drink sounds good Selena. Glad to see you posting!!! Hope your school week goes good. Aerial starts tomorrow at her new school. Don't remember if I told y'all what happened with her schedule. She got all honors classes but she had to choose between honors science and athletics because they were the same period. She chose science. She says at this point in her life whatever she wants to do needs science. Well except her art. So, no volleyball this year but I am proud of her. She's in art and robotics too.

I just got through cleaning my whole house so it will be clean for when we leave Thursday. Now, all I have to do is pack Wed when I go on vacation. I can't believe we are leaving Thursday. We are meeting up with our friends in Houston. Jason's daughter is 9 and has never been to Disney so I bet she will be sooo excited. I have a massage scheduled for Wed. My plan is to get up, take Aerial to school, go workout at the gym, then get my massage. After that I just have to pack.

Tuesday morning I go to court and I will be single. Crazy, I've been going through so many emotions. I don't miss him, but it's just like a whole chapter of my life is ending and it's weird going through it all. Tuesday night I'm getting my hair done, then I'm going home to get my buzz on and celebrate.

While I'm catching you all up....I met a guy. I hate to even mention it and jinx anything or make it sound like I'm rushing. Lately I meet guys and find that I'm just playing and run off and meet another in the same night, not letting anyone spend to much time with me. But, I met this guy and spent a whole evening with him at the club we go to. His name is Shane and he works here in Texas every other week for 7 days and then he is off for 7 days and goes home to Louisianna. I saw him twice and then he left for the week. He's been calling me everyday too. Wouldn't that be nice to date someone every other week? Maybe the best of both worlds since I'm not ready for any commitment? Well guess what, yesterday he went on a cruise. Sounds like my kind of guy for sure haha. He called me from the bar on the ship before it left.

The funny part is I dreamed last night I was on a cruise (not with him) and everything weird happened. I was walking up stairs to floor 3 to go to my cabin and there was no floor 3 i would go up and down the stairs and never could find floor 3. And, it was definitely not disney, I went to the desk and asked if there was ever going to be any activities and they said the next night there would be a juggler. It was funny. I want to go on a cruise!!!!!

So, he gets off the ship on Thursday and has to come here to go back to work. He told me if he gets here in time he is coming over to see me before I leave for the airport Thursday evening.

Well I guess I've written a book, but it's been a while since I've posted a lot and I wanted to catch all my funky monkeys up.

Jrsy, I am almost through with HP, really, seriously, honestly almost through. haha. The thing is the closer I get to the end the more sad I get that it's almost over.

Well I'm off to go make sure Aerial has ironed clothes for her first day at school.

Marcie - you are going to have the best week this week. I can't believe you leave on Thursday!!!! How exciting, and you get to be single at Disney!!! I bet you are going through a ton of emotions. My best friends ex-husband now realizes he screwed up, but she will never go back to him. Shane sounds really nice. What a great girl Aerial is, she is so smart and to choose science over athletics...you did such a great job raising her. That is one crazy dream....I start to get crazy dreams like that as well when I get one week away from vacation!!!

I found out last night after I posted my long post, my mother is having a lung biopsy today. Keep ya fingers crossed for her.

Jrsy, I am almost through with HP, really, seriously, honestly almost through. haha. The thing is the closer I get to the end the more sad I get that it's almost over.

Alex and I have been reading it together and we have just over 100 pages to go. If I focus, I can be through the book twice before you get finished!

Of course, our time may be limited this week. Alex and I started guitar lessons together this weekend, so we have to practice every night.

Also, Tammy and I finally got fed up with the leaks, so we ripped out the shower insert this weekend. We're also replacing the drywall and when we ripped off the old stuff, we found a message written in chalk when the house was built that said:
I Love You

How weird is that?

Jrsy - sounds to me that house was meant for you and Tammy. How crazy to find that message, I think it is so cool. Guitar lessons, sounds like a lot of fun and very time consuming!! I am sure you guys will be playing at our next BBQ!!

They just called me, the doctor didn't see anything unusual in her lungs, which is a plus. They have to wait 48 hours for the results of the biopsy though. Next test they are doing is a swallowing test. It won't be scheduled until she's home though.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be MIA for the next week. I have training for the rest of this week and will be at the campground for my 4 day weekend over Labor Day. I probably won't be able to get back on until next Tuesday. Enjoy the long weekend.
