Heidi, I had surgery a few years ago but when it was done knew up front I would have to wear glasses again one day. I am afraid that one day is almost here. Contacts will becoming easier for you in a short amount of time. You just need to get over the fear of touching your eye. Once you have that under control you are good. I did not realize I was scared of doing that until it took me an hour by first time putting mine in by myself. lol

OH...work starts back tomorrow for me. I am dreading it like the plague. I am depressed about it. I know I am silly but I just have no desire to wake up at 5:30 in the mornings again.

Wow Selena, you already start work again??! It seems like such a short time you were off, I get up at 4:45 and hate it but I like getting off early!!! I hope you don't disappear from the DIS when you start work, we will miss you here.

Oh my Selena. You have to go back to work already???? I agree with Heidi, don't disappear. I bet that Stephanie has been to WDW before because we cruised with them last year. Why I think the two go together????? Silly me.

Heidi, it did take me about an hour the first few times but it did get easier. Never mastered it though. Call Cristina for hints.

I just noticed my countdown timer changed to counting down days now!! Yesterday it said one month, now it says 30 days!! WooHoo!!!

You may leave on Monday, but I only work 2 days that week!!! For whatever reason I decided to take Wednesday on off even though we leave on Friday. After these last few weeks I am extremely happy I made that smart move.

Hey I'm alive. Not sure how long it's been since I've posted, too tired to look back that far. I've been trying to get Aerial all registered at a new school, work has been very busy & I've been working out almost every night. I am very sore right now. I still have to go to the gym tonight because Aerial has a personal training scheduled, so I guess I will at least do the treadmill. I will be glad when she is in school and all settled in. It's exciting being her first time in public school. I know for sure she has 3 out of the 4 core, Honors classes, the 4th they say is full and they are going to put her in another class with that teacher. For electives she is taking Art, of course and Robotics, which is a team UIL class where they build out of legos and use the computer to control them, or something like that. It sounds like an awesome class for her and being a team class hopefully she will make some good friends. My court date is tentatively scheduled for next Thursday, the 23rd. I'm feeling weird, been happy, but having bad dreams about him and just ready to get it over with. I think that's why I've been working out everynight. It's nice going to the gym too because at least I am not home, it's social.

I took the day off the day before we go to Disney because I haven't even thought of packing. I can't believe in 2 weeks I will be there.

Marcie - so good to hear from you, I was getting worried. I didn't remember that you were putting Aerial in public school, is she excited to go? Make sure you have a friend go with you to your court date. I went with Taura and we got the giggles and it helped her through. The judge stated $30 for child support when it was really $300 and then when she asked Taura if everything was correct, Taura had a funny look on her face. Beforehand, her lawyer told her she only needed to respond to all the questions with a yes, but she knew $30 was wrong so when she responded no, her lawyer and the judge looked shocked!!!! Also they asked her if she was pregnant 3 different times and she would look back at me and we would laugh out loud.

Thanks Heidi. My step-mom called and offered to go with me. I got my letter from my lawyer yesterday the court date is August 28th. 2 days before I leave for Disney!!! So, I suppose all is good. I had 2 drinks 2 celebrate.

Marcie, I was wondering the same as Jrsy. How are you doing with the weather. Is that tropical storm going to hit your way? Sure have missed you! Sounds like Aerial has such a positive attitude with changing schools. Everything sounds like it fell into place for her! Just think.....2 more weeks and you will be in the happiest place on earth!

Marcie, how are you doing? I will be thinking of you during this time. At least you have a way to have fun after the court date, right? Will everything be final on the 28th?

I am back at work. I was so down on Tuesday over it but I am fine now that I am back. Not sure if you guys remember that my job was lost in cut backs and they moved me to another postion. I think I am going to like it. I think!???? lol I have my own office and two windows! lol I am over attendance for the students and the teachers. I am over the substitutes as well. I am praying it will not be very stressful.

Hey guys! Sorry I have been MIA. I don't think I have posted since we got back from NM. We had a good trip down there visiting my SIL. Went to the pool a couple of days and did some other fun things around town. I feel like I got a little bit of summer in before it is over.

While we were gone, Brad tore out the carpet in the dining room and put in hardwood floors. Then we had a guy come out on Monday this week and sand and recoat everything. So now I am trying to put everything back together. I am having a GS leader meeting here tonight and I am thinking this was a bad idea. I have a lot to finish up today.
