Good morning, I didn't end up going to the concert and I went to my sister's. I woke up at 4:30 this morning so that I could make it in to work by 6:00...I am a little tired right now but I made it to work on time. Thank god for green tea because I will be drinking that all day to keep me awake!!

Aw, Heidi, I hate that feeling of being at work when you're so tired - you feel like everything around you is moving faster than usual! Green tea - you're so healthy - I would definitely be asking for an extra shot of espresso in something on a day like that

Alex and I finally went to see Order of the Phoenix last night at the IMAX theater. I liked the movie but I thought the 3D was pretty much unneccessary.

Lulu, I didn't realize that you were headed to WDW this Friday. Lucky you. Marcie, Heidi and I will be close behind you. Why didn't we all try and plan this better?

Just have to vent. We just go an email that states, "This is a thank you to everyone working on the Accountability Audit. Everyone has done their part, so a little treat for the group. Come enjoy some pizza - bring your own drink as usual."

Okay how is EVERYONE doing their part? Is anyone helping me with my work that is piling up? Did anyone help me collect over 600 records the last 3 weeks and slowly put them away as they come up? Is anyone helping me carry the records between buildings and being the runner? Did anyone help me set up the focus group meeting with other 400 employees and then secure the conference room? Is anyone else working 11 hour days? The answer is NO, so how is "everyone doing their part"?

Now he just called and said that we would leave at 6:00 because he wants to check it out before the concert starts. I am about ready to call him back and say forget about it and have fun and that I made other plans.

Heidi, I am sure Chris is a great guy but he seems to be very selfish. Honestly, Jeff would never have even thought to say something like this. I am so lucky that he puts me first 95% of the time.

Good morning. What a crazy morning I have had. At 6:00am an investigator came to talk with me for my security clearance and had to interview me. He was concerned with all the cruises I have been on and ports of call. I had to explain everything in detail what I did at the ports. Then I started the audit to find out I had been locked out of my building because there was a chemical spill up the street and everything went on lockdown, all the buildings and gates were shut down and no one could come in or go out. I looked down the street and saw tons of flashing lights so it is pretty close to our buildings, finally the guard took pitty on me and let me back in the building. So now my audit team is stuck at the building across the street, and I have to stay here so I don't get locked out again!!!!! What a morning!

Good weekend at the campground. It was Halloween. The had a fantastic haunted house, hayride and trick or treating. It was fun watching our grandkids go trick or treating for the first time. It was amazing how many campers actually participated handing out candy!

Good morning. I had a great weekend at the campground. This is the last week of the audit!! I cannot wait. Of course they turned off the air conditioner in the building over the weekend again and it is so hot in here, an dof course I have to be running back and forth without air. Cheap GSA.

We had our company picnic (organized in part by yours truly) on Saturday at Eisenhower Park in Denver. It was a bit warm, but not enough to keep us from playing volleyball and having a really good day.

Tammy took Alex to Pirate's Cove today.

Jrsy - sounds like a lot of fun. I wish we would have company picnics, but we get "employee appreciation" which includes a free scoop of ice cream and a motivational speaker. It would be a lot more fun if we could get off the Fed Center and actually interact with our coworkers!!!

I haven't been to Pirates Cove this year and it looks like I won't get to this year before it closes. I like that little water park, it is perfect, close, and cheaper!!

Last night I went to get contacts. It feels so much better to see clear, but still a real pain in the butt to put in and take out!! I am sure I will get the hang of it soon.
