Marcie, it sounds like you are doing really well with everything right now. I am really happy for you.

Selena, if you are still bored you can come out here. My house totally needs a deep cleaning.

We just got back inside from a bird funeral. We had a nest outside our bathroom window and the babies are leaving the nest now. Apparently Max got one yesterday and they buried him before I got home. One of the other ones kept falling out of the nest, Brad kept putting him back, but the last time she fell out we didn't put her back, we moved it to the front yard though so that Max wouldn't get it. She didn't make it though so Brad just buried that one too. The other two hopped out of the yard though so maybe they will make it.

I have been really busy at work. It is still just three days a week, but they are close to 11 hour days so then I am pretty much wiped out when I get home. My friend who used to be the lab manager there 3 years ago just accepted the position to come back. I am pretty excited about it. So now I will stay on as assistant mgr. We are just waiting to see when she will start. It will either be the week of July 16th or 23rd. By fall things should be back to normal.

Brad's orientation is supposed to be on July 9th for his new job. He went yesterday for his physical and they still have to do a background check on him.

Marcie, I am so glad things are going so smoothly. I watched Rachael Ray today and it reminded me of you. Lance Armstrong's ex wife wrote a book about divorce called "Happily Ever After" - about how she is so happy and how she rediscovered herself after the break up. It reminded me of you!

Cristi, I am so glad things are going well with Brad. I hope he loves his job!

School is over!

Yay!

I start summer school Monday, but these 4 days, well 3 now, will be nice! And no grades or anything to wreck it!

I spent the morning watching tv and playing games w my 13 yo nephew and then worked out at Curves and did some Avon deliveries. Tomorrow I go to see 4 yo nephew's swimming lesson and then we take him to our monthly date at Rainforest Cafe!

Selena, it is so good to see you on again! I started tanning, too. I am scared to go too much, but I will just look at my legs and think "darn, they look so much thinner when they're tan!" LOL.

Jrsy, (we still call you this even though we know your real name, you know!) that itinerary is hilarious! I will have to remember that for future use (modified of course!) The part about California is hysterical!

We are (well maybe it is just me) ready for Brad to start his new job. We are going to take a little mini-vacation next weekend (Thurs-Sun) down in the Durango/Mesa Verde area. We are going to do the train on Friday and then on Saturday head over to Mesa Verde. It should be fun.

Brad went to his folks house to help his dad replace his fence today. I think the kids and I will head over to the pool this afternoon.

Cristi - Can I go to the pool too, I just don't want to be at work today!!! I love Mesa Verde, a lot of good childhood memories from that place that we still talk about in my family. Watch out for jumping mice, flying tents, and a deer on a leash (we will see if my mom catches on!!!) Have fun, I want to go there with Chris sometime but not sure how long the drive is so take note for me on how long it took you to get there.

I might just have to get this book. I am really enjoying just having fun and learning about the real me that I lost along the way of my marriage. I went out to eat and have a few drinks last night with my friend and her brother and cousins. I'm a little tired but I was in bed by 11:30. Tonight I'm going out, I'm looking forward to it, it will probably be a late night BUT, the friend I went with last night asked me if I wanted to go to Salsa night on Saturday and that sounds like a lot of fun. So we will see if I can find the energy to do both. Sunday my plan is clean house, grocery shop, and sleep as long as I can because Aerial and her step sister are coming home for a week. I'm so glad, I've missed her. What's everyone else doing this weekend?

I know you said they were across Belleview from the park...but I couldn't find them!!!! I was actually thinking about airplane park (I have no idea what the real name of it is) so that would be great if I could find the Sprayground. Have you ever been to the mini-golf place on the SE corner of Belleview and Windermere? You have to use the same entrance off Windermere just south of Belleview, but you follow it to the parking lot at the far east end right next to the playground. You will be overlooking the airplane park from that parking lot. The sprayground is right next to the playground; you can't miss it.

What's everyone else doing this weekend?

Meeting Tammy and Alex at Elitch Gardens after work tonight. Taking the car in for an oil change and to rotate the tires tomorrow morning. Alex has a bowling birthday party to go to on Sunday, so I don't know what Tammy and I will be doing during that. My parents are arriving for a weeklong visit on Tuesday, so I'm sure we'll be doing some preparing for that.
