I saw that Magic bullet on TV infomercial ...How do you like the Magic Bullet it looks cool and would seem to be perfect to bring on our Cruise I saw it at CostCo and almost bought it

YAY SELENA IS BACK!!! WE MISSED YOU

My wedding plans had a slight detour, but now we are back on track. The date have changed to June 6th, 2008 instead of June 7th. But I am back to being happy about the new date. It was drama for awhile, but it didn't take me too long to get over it. Basically while playing phone tag with the place and they knew the date I wanted because I was leaving messages, they gave it to another couple. Oh well, Jrsy likes Friday weddings so he changed my mind.

Oh I hate they did that to you guys. That stinks. Friday night weddings get the weekend off right. I know the date was important though.

Well my first day of freedom I have already washed two loads of clothes, literally gotten down on my hands and knees and scrubbed the floor a bathroom. I have redone my closet and clean up my room, the kitchen and that bathroom. It is only 9:40 here on the East Coast too!! I have done a lot in an hour and 40 minutes.

It looks like rain here so I guess mowing the lawn is out for the time being.

Erik's baseball team is in the tournament and we are in first place in the regular season. We have won our first game in the tourny on Wednesday. We have a game tonight at 6 and if we win it we go to the championship tomorrow at 1.

We have company coming down for the weekend too. They are due to arrive tomorrow afternoon. Therefore, my house has to be cleaned. The guest room is good. I just have to remake the bed. The kids made it and forgot to put the mattress pad back on the bed. The upstairs bathrooms were cleaned by me last night.

I have tons of errands to run and loads of chores. I hope I get it all done. I still have 3 rooms to clean up and the garage!! I have a table to put together and new curtains to buy and then hang!! I have to go to the grocery store and the....adult beverage store. I am running to Costco for sushi and shrimp tomorrow. I want it fresh! Mmm what else....I hope that is all!! I mean I do have two baseball games to go to in all of this. lol

OK, I will check back later. I have to get to movin movin....lol

OMG Selena, that is a sh*t load of work you have to do!!!! You better get power cleaning!!! Good luck to E on his tournament..sounds like his team is doing awesome.

Welcome to the DISboard OsidePat. I noticed that our thread was your first post. She doesn't post here anymore but just thought I would address the Magic Bullet. I think it would be too heavy to actually pack. I have thought about it a couple of times but the weight keeps me from doing it. We don't own one so I don't know how well it works.

Brad got a job!!! His tentative start date is July 9th. It sounds really good though. M-F 8-4:30.

Stephanie how is your nephew?

I know guys I have been gone so long I am so behind but I have been thinking about all of you and you all have been in my prayers.

He is doing wonderful! There are still somethings that cause him pain -- and thye will for a long time to come -- but, overall he is doing great! He is thinking about driving up this weekend...we'll see! It's a 3 1/2 hr drive and he may decide that is too long for him to sit in one position!

We're glad to hear from you and how is your dad doing?

Just read Karen's email. She sends her love and misses us all. After reading it, I can tell that she has been kept very busy and that is why she doesn't post. Just can't find the time. Sounds like she is enjoying Neb. Her son ended up moving there as well. He missed his family when he stayed in FL. Valencia is now 6 this Sunday.

Jrsy - How was your Father's Day? What did you do?

I hope all the other dad's enjoyed their Father's Day as well.

We had a very interesting weekend!! My sister accidentally flooded my parents new 5th Wheel and we came home to water pouring out of the trailer. She was trying to be helpful, she was so upset.....but luckily we all knew how to swim and survived!!! Other than that nothing else. Enjoyed Joey and Tyler's birthday party and had a lot of fun with them.

Jrsy - How was your Father's Day? What did you do?

Father's Day was HOT!

(You know it is bad when reading the newspaper makes you sweat!)

The traditional hike was cancelled due to the heat, but since Tammy and I had hiked a lot the previous weekend, we didn't feel too bad about it. So, I went with the other Father's Day tradition of watching the U.S. Open.

And I called my dad.

Hi guys, thankfully we all know how to swim. Honestly water was pouring out of the bottom of the trailer. It was unreal to see. Then we opened the door and out came water. Standing water in the bathroom and in the shower. Water was running down the stairs. Not sure if any of you know the layout of a 5th wheel. Hopefully, all is well now.

Jrsy, it was hot, hot, hot! It hit 97 yesterday. When we got home the temp inside was 82. Ted got the swamp cooler up and running thankfully!

Crisit, told Ted that Brad got the job. He was happy for him.

Oh no I hate you guys had a flood. I do know the layout somewhat of a 5th wheel. I am so sorry this happened. At least no one was hurt though. You never know about these things. Water could have busted out a window and hurt someone.

Way to go Brad on the new job!!!

Stephanie good to hear about your nephew. I am so glad he continues to improve.

My dad is great. Well if you saw him you would not know anything is wrong but we can tell he just does not have a lot of energy. BUT his heart is still in the correct beating order and he is happy.

Erik's team did win the Championship on Saturday. It was a great game. I am so glad they won. He was chosen to be on the Allstar team now. lol Does it ever end? lol His first practice is tonight. We will see if he has practice every night or not. Normally they do in Allstars.

Oh it was steamy here yesterday. Now today is a great day. It is warm but we have a breeze.

Our house guest left at 9 this morning and made it to Richmond by 1. We had a great time.

Today was the twins 2nd year check up. It was fun to go and hear what the doctor had to say. Both grandkids are doing great.

Well I just booked my best friend and my annual Vegas trip. It seems like a tradition that we go to Vegas in August. We are going August 1 - August 4 and we are staying at the Monte Carlo. The price came out to $324/person for airfare and 3 nights!!!!
