Thanks Steph. The Slight migraine turned into a full blown migraine by the time I got off work. I ened up having to go to bed at 7:00 and just sleep.

Hi Guys! It has been a busy week around here for everyone it sounds like. I think we all need a drink. Sandy you need to have a drink for me too. I'm easy though, margarita, rum drink, beer whatever..... You leave this weekend right? Just in time to miss the snow again.

Selena, after you had your Lasik, did it take awhile for your eyesight to settle down and be clear all of the time? Mine is still wavering between blurry and clear. When I went in last week the dr told me within the next 2-3 weeks everything should stablize, but I am not patient I guess.

It has been busy at work here this week. I am glad that I only work 3 days a week most of the time. Mon and Tuesday I worked a bench at work that we use a microscope most of the day. It was my first day back on the scope since the surgery. My eyes were pretty darn tired when I got done. Tuesday my manager went off on me. I think she is psycho. Monday everything was fine, we even had lunch together. Then on Tuesday afternoon she went off on my after I asked her a question. She had been telling me about something that had been going on with the FDA at work and little bit later she mentioned one of the other managers was stressed out and I said "Oh, you just found out about the FDA stuff." A little bit later she was all in my face about why did I want to know when she found out and what difference did it make? It was an innocent question ( and I am the assistant manager too). It really ticked me off. I went back to doing my work and for a split second thought that I really didn't want to put up with her moods anymore. That thought left soon though because I really don't want to start over somewhere else. I have been there for 15 years in April.

Sorry this is so long. I just needed to vent a little.

Heidi, how is your head today? Hope it's better! I woke up with a headache today. It is slowly beginning to feel better. I might go lay down again for awhile though.

Cristi - that sucks. Sounds like your manager was having a rough day and exploded and took it out on you. Maybe she is bipolar? Hopefully it won't happen again. I think if it happened again, then I would say something.

Erik is driving me nuts. You can tell he is feeling better. He asked to go to school. Of course I did tell him if he did not go to school tomorrow he would not get to go to his basketball game Saturday. lol He also want to go to the school dance.

Me, I am going nuts in this house. I was lucky though they wanted Chick Fillet for lunch so I got to run down the road by myself to get lunch. Heck when I had the flu the last time I was way too sick to eat. Not my two. lol I also got to go to get my hair highlighted. Now I have good looking hair and a glass of wine. I feel good. Well until I sat down 5 minutes ago to have both kids ask for gingerale. lol

I was good today. I cleaned a bathroom and washed the bed linens.

I'm glad to see the thread has not gone completely to wedding dresses and menopause stories in my absence. We are finally back. Anyone interested in a trip report and photos? It will take a while to get that all up if you are, but I thought I'd pop in and say "Hello!"

Selena - you had me when you told Cristi to just get drunk. My head was better yesterday after my coworker told me that her neurologist said when you get a multiple day migraine to take 2 extra strenght Tylenol with a cup of coffee. So I did that yesterday (I also took my migraine medicine!!) and it went away. This morning I have another one, so I am trying to get an appointment because having a slight migraine every day this week is ridiculous!!!! Luckily only one day tuned into a nauseaous (sp) full blown migraine...I am thinking the other slight migraines are the after effects.

WELCOME BACK JRSY. How was your trip, what did you do, tell us everything!!!! Can't wait for your trip report and pictures. I tried to get out all the wedding talk while you were gone, but I may post a few pictures of me trying on Wedding dresses....can you stand a few of those?

Do weather changes affect your migraines? When my MIL picked us up at the airport, she said that both she and my SIL had headaches due to the weather change, but since we haven't been here, we don't know what that change was. Tammy gets the same thing and I experience it occasionally.

I'm going to try to work on some photos later today and get up what I can, but I'm not making any promises on getting the trip report up immediately. I'll try to do a few days at a time or something like that. Cosmo stayed out of trouble and we have a few good pictures of him, too. We definitely have some intersting little anecdotes to share.
