Hmmm...Sandy, Heidi, Marcie, Selena, Cristi...am I missing anyone? The sleeping arrangements may get crowded but I'm sure I won't be complaining.Jrsy, I think we should ALL go with you on your trip. We deserve some sun!
Where do you go? I saw people over at Clement Park last weekend and I know there is also that sledding hill at Kipling and Ken Caryl. Our neighborhood is so flat...We have the girls this weekend and they want to go sledding so he won't be able to sled now.
Jrsy, Heidi goes to the sledding hill at Kipling and KEn Caryl. And.....if you think your post scared me off from going with you, you're crazy!
Selena, here is the 30 second roll....Spicy marinated crab meat, boiled shrimp, Kaiware & Avocado wrapped w/soy bean paper. There is also a 60 second roll which is twice the size. This menu has the ingredients on each kind on it.
My favorite is Kilaua Roll...Spicy marinated crab meat, avocado & cream cheese cooked with tempura batter topped with special sauce. Aerial might try some raw ones but I'll stick to that and crunch roll.![]()
Oh I did taste the caterpillar roll before...Cooked Eel and marinated crab meat topped with shrimp, avocado, smelt egg, special sauce & honey mustard. It was okay, but once was enough.![]()
Okay, I'm off my sushi kick. Just let me know if you want to know what's in any others.![]()
Marcie, I am sure that you and I could squeeze in somewhere. Heck, I could take a Deck 4 chair anyday. Yes, I did read about the CA rumor. I am now in the process of talking Ted into going on another repo cruise. Neither one of us really cared for the canal itself however.
And.....if you think your post scared me off from going with you, you're crazy!
A verandah? Deck 4? Trust me, I'll find room for all of you...even if I have to oil you up to squeeze you in.Didn't scare me either, I'm thinking as long as I get a BBC I'll be happy sleepy on a verandah somewhere LOL.
I'm almost afraid to know how big and heavy Cosmo's box has become. Of course, with our weather, he may not make it in time to go with us.I just edited Cosmo's itinerary. Poor guy only has 3 more trips planned. Come on people, book another trip!!
Don't feel like you need to pack too much.JRSY, I AM PACKING MY BAGS TODAY !!

Keep that snow shovel by the front door. Another storm is expected to hit the state at the end of the week and put Colorado into the deep freeze as well.
If the snow amount expected from this storm - up to a foot - falls, it would put this season's snowfall to date into the record books.
"We're well above normal on snowfall," said Kyle Fredin, forecast meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Boulder. "If we get more than 5 inches (from the upcoming storm), we'll be in fifth place at this rate."
From September through the first week of January, the Denver area has received an official 49.2 inches of snow.
The all-time record snowfall for the same period is 73.2 inches, recorded in the winter of 1913-1914, followed by 63.1 inches in 1991-1992, 62 inches for 1929-30, and 59.3 inches in 1946-1947.
Even for the month of January, the snowfall total has been high - 5.6 inches. Typically, Denver gets 7.8 inches for the entire month.
Earlier forecasts had called for near-normal to slightly above-normal precipitation for Colorado this winter.
"The highest precipitation would be over Texas and California, with below normal in Chicago," Fredin said. "It's what you expect in an El Niño year."
It is hard to predict whether this January will be among the snowiest, since the month is only a week old. But the record to beat would be January 1992, when 24.3 inches fell, including 14.5 inches in a 24-hour period.
But what makes the coming storm different from the past three will be the very low temperatures - highs only in the single digits for the weekend.
"The next six to 10 days will be a lot colder than normal," Fredin said.
Normal highs are around 45 degrees. The mercury will top that in the next few days before the storm hits.
But come Thursday, when the snow is expected to arrive, the highs will slide to the 20s and 30s.
By Friday, the high will be only about 10 degrees, with lows below zero.
Over the weekend, high temperatures are expected to be only in the single digits, with lows of about 5 below zero.
The deep freeze will continue through the weekend, with highs Monday expected to be 10 degrees, and lows still dipping below zero.
Fredin said he doesn't expect the snow to taper off until late Sunday or even Monday morning.
The reason for the frigid forecast is that this storm is drawing most of its power from the North, not from the Pacific.
"The winds are from well north, and it draws cold weather aloft," Fredin said.
