Jrsy - ya my trash was finally picked up this week too. I hope ours gets picked up next week, we are going to have tons of trash with our extra house guests. My cousin never stops eating!!!

According to the Rocky Mountain News article today on "delayed" trash pick up, nearly half of the complaints to the RMN were from customers of Allied Waste Services (aka BFI). Ours was picked up this week but if we get snow over the weekend, I wonder if it will be picked up next week.

I was wondering the same thing. We read it in the newspaper as well. I WAS thinking about changing to Pro Disposal but read that they were getting the next amount of complaints. Ours was finaaly picked up but not until 6 or 7 Tues night.

I finally decided that I am working from home tomorrow. Instead of battling the weather I planned ahead and emailed all my work to myself at home so I can be safe and sound working from my home!!! I am sure I will get a lot more done that way without all the interuptions.

How's the weather in Colorado now? I just heard that Sunday the high is 78 and Monday the high is 38.

I have been dealing with the same crap again with "those" people on that other board. Heidi knows the board. Anyway I think I have decided they are all nuts, including the Hosts, there. I am not sure if I will go back there and post.

All of the people who I cruised with in November were blamed on many horrible things that WE DID NOT DO! I only put that in bold to get attention not to yell.

I do not think I will ever get it when a host tells you she refuses to hear your side of it because you are putting another member down. but she will listen to that other member tell her side. That host did tell me every single thing that was told on me and my friends. BUT yet we can not even defend ourselves.

Another thing how can you believe a person who you have never met before? I mean here there are more than 25 people who has at one time or another had an issue with this member? Why is it that the 25 are wrong and not the 1? Many of the 25, including myself, have never done anything to anyone.

I will never understand people I guess.

Needless to say now once again we have changed our minds on our cruises. Altough we terribly wanted to go on the MExican Riviera I have no deisre to be with the hosts on that board. I think we will cancel. However, I am sure we will wait in case we change our minds. We are booking a Carnival Fantasy cruise for NYE. It will leave out of New Orleans on 12-29-07. We are going with our group. lol I know our group is fun and also good people.

We woke up to a dusting of snow and some flurries still flying. The thermometer at our house said 4 degrees when I left, but the one I pass on the way to the light rail said -2 degrees!

Selena - wow, I can't believe that junk is still happeneing after all these months. These people need to get a grip on what is important in life!!! Let me guess, the 2 posters that threatened to stay away, came back.

Yes they were not gone 3 days...so it was all a sympathy stunt. It worked because the hosts hates us now. They are the ones who have caused all the problems. You even could see it. A few members got upset at those 2 and another one who just kept it up. A few comments were made to them to stop and they came back with we will stop talkinga bout it. Yes we were wrong to bring it here....BUT if you knew the problems and all that.....They kept it up for several more days. I had thought just maybe the hosts and some members were seeing her and her crew for what they are but NOT.

We have to head out to the airport. We have a DISer friend (Disney Dudette One) coming in. So far she is on time. What a way to see CO but in a deep freeze. I really wanted to show her the mtns but with this temp not real sure what we will do. We met on the boards and have travelled together five times now. Four on DCL cruises and one to WDW. There are 2 other Disney Dudettes. All from NJ.

Sure, just bundle up a lot. I actually had traffic duty at the kids school again this morning. I had on sweatpants under my jeans, fuzzy socks, my sorrels, longsleeved tshirt, hoodie, heavy coat, hat and my ski gloves and I was okay other than my face and noses being really cold.

Sure, just bundle up a lot. I actually had traffic duty at the kids school again this morning. I had on sweatpants under my jeans, fuzzy socks, my sorrels, longsleeved tshirt, hoodie, heavy coat, hat and my ski gloves and I was okay other than my face and noses being really cold.

That's one way. Check the maternity wards in about 40 weeks if you're unsure of the second way.

It is -1 here right now. Brrr.... Cookie sales start today so DD and I will head out a little later for that. I may drive her around the neighborhood this year since it is so cold.

We did our street and down the main street a little bit. It was cold, but at least the sun was shining. We were layered pretty well and everyone that ordered invited us in while we filled out the form. Last year we did the cul-de-sac on the other side of us and went all the way down the main drag. We skipped the cul-de-sac since I think only one person bought from us last year and our feet were getting cold so we decided to come home. But between those houses, both aunts and one grandma she is already up to 55 boxes. I usually get quite a few at work too.

Hey if any of my Colorado friends want any cookies let me know.

We had a big step at our house Saturday night. I took Rachel to the ice skating rink to meet with her friends and skate, dropped off with no parents there (and there were boys in the group she was meeting). My baby is growing up.

Cristi - cookie sales, if Chris and I weren't trying to diet before the wedding than we would buy some. Hmmm, maybe I will still by some. How much are they this year?

Well this weekend we actually went sledding in below zero temperatures. It was a blast. It was a total of 9 people sledding with 5 sleds and 2 intertubes. We bundled up and kept warm climbing up the hill what seemed to be a billion times. I was suprised that it wasn't crowded, I guess people were staying warm inside!!!! Works for me, less crashes!!!!

Heidi, they are up a little this year, $3.25. Let me know if you want any and I can get some for you. I am sure everyone was staying warm instead of sledding. Saturday probably wouldn't have been as bad because the sun would warm you up a little. Yesteday was depressing with the grey skies again though.
