Mom - do not pick up the computer, refuse to pick it up because it was dropped. If you take it back then it looks like you accepted the fact that they dropped it. Keep calling the manager and remind him how this computer has been with them (since before vacation) which is almost 2 months. Stay strong and verbal.

Sandy, I agree. I don't think I would take the computer at this point either.

oh yeah for the Colorado Jeffco people, I was sitting here filling out my ballot and remembered that I never told you that the lady running for coroner lives on the end of my street. She is a little nuts though and we are not voting for her for sure.

oh yeah for the Colorado Jeffco people, I was sitting here filling out my ballot and remembered that I never told you that the lady running for coroner lives on the end of my street. She is a little nuts though and we are not voting for her for sure.

It takes a special person to run for coroner!!! I couldn't do that job. When my best friend went to court to get her divorce she read the sign that said, "coroner's office" and she said I bet that corner office is nice and whoever sits there must be important. When she realized she read the sign wrong we laughed so hard.

Just found out that my work is sending me to Las Vegas on Sunday. My plane leaves at 3:00pm and I get back home on Wednesday around 8:00pm. Then I go to work on Thursday and leave for California Friday morning, to fly back on Monday!!!! My coworker was supose to go but her husband collapsed last night and he was admitted to the hospital and she doesn't want to leave him when he is not feeling well. My boss said I was second in charge so hopefully I could make it at such short notice because she was supose to go to D.C. that same week. After Houston, I was a little leary but the other lady going with me assured me the hotel was decent!!!!

I didn't get my car yesterday, they called me at 5 yesterday and said it still hadn't gotten there. They promised me today, but I haven't heard from them yet. So I patiently wait.

Cristi, I already voted. Hmmmm, who did I vote for coroner?? Hope it wasn't your neighbor. I have to tell you that when I first moved to Colorado and was out looking for a doctor my office (Jeff Co District Court) recommended a doctor. I didn't know it the first time I went but he was County Coroner. How creepy is that?

Ok, so I went to Best Buy AGAIN. I was told last night that the guy would be in first thing in the morning so I thought if I can't reach him by phone then I will show up in person. Well, that blew up in my face. Guess whose schedule was changed. I got no where AGAIN. He is supposedly coming in at 2 and a message was left for him to call me. The general manager was right at the geek squad counter out of my heariing reach so one of the geeks told him of our problem. The GM didn't talk to me. He told the geek that I should continue on with the service manager that he actually had more pull than the GM. I doubt that!

Just got back from serving chili for 2 1/2 hours, now I am not so sure I want to make or eat chili tonight after serving so much!!!! It was a chili/salsa contest and you paid $5.00 to try everyones chili and vote. We had over 25 green and red chili's. Very busy but fun. All the money goes to charities.

Marcie I have a Honda Accord EX and I love it. It is 4 years old and has less than 12,000 a year on it. It really is 4 years and 8 months old. Anyway I love my car and plan on driving it until it falls apart. I hate car payments. They just take away from my cruise fund money!

My kids are packed to go. Now all I have to do is pack myself and all the other stuff like charges and all that. I have to have it all in my car by Thursday night since I work up until an hour before we leave!! I know I am nuts but I did not have the time to waste and take off.

wow. That is very little miles. Mine will be small like that, it takes me 6 months to get the 3,000 miles for an oil change. They called and told me I can pick up my car after work.

Yay, Marcie got a new car....we want to see pictures!!!!!!

Selena - sounds like a very nice itinerary..the end of the week is coming so fast!!!!

We only got 5 (yes count them on ONE hand) TOT'ers. Chris and I were so upset. I love to see all the little kids in their costume but didn't get to see very many. We dumped Candy in the last group's bag just to get rid of the candy that we don't need, but we still have a ton!!!! We did get comments on how good our pumpkin smelled, people thought it was a candle, but it was the nutmeg and cinnamon sprinkled on the lid. Out of about 30 townhomes, 3 people (including us) were passing out candy...no wonder why no one came, I wouldn't either.

We had 44 kids, and some of them were real cuties, but the night didn't start off well. There was some kind of problem with the light rail, so I ended up 1/2 hour late and had to borrow a cell phone to call Tammy to let her know. Her dad came over to pick Alex up for TOTing so he didn't miss out then she went and hooked up with them later while I handled the candy at our house.

I did get a picture standing next to my car with my costume on. It's at night and not a very good picture but I will post it tonight.

Aerial went with TOTing with her friend and his Mom, they seemed to get a lot of good stuff. I got my car and Dane took me out to eat to celebrate. It was a nice evening.

I just got back from getting my cat scan. I had to drink 2 bottles of that yucky white stuff and then when I got there she wanted me to drink another cup full. I survived though. I also had to get the dye, so I got stuck. BUT hopefully they can see if anything is up and fix me. I go back to the doc Friday.

I can't believe it's November already. I just realized I will have to decide when to use my last 2 vacation days soon or the year will be gone.

You guys would never believe what I went through yesterday with Best Buy. A VERY LONG STORY made short....the absolute stopping point of a consumer told me on the phone yesterday after I asked what he would do and his response was: buy another extended warranty before this one expires.
