Lulu, I did watch Studio 60. I will probably watch it again too. It has some good people on it.

Marcie, hope your foot will be better soon.

Selena, No, I haven't heard back about the biopsy yet. I went in on Monday and had the stiches removed and it feels a lot better, the lymph node is better too. I called and left a message today to see if they have heard anything yet.

Sorry to hear about all the ailments and all. Everyone take care.

Selena, there is some bad things going on again on our 10 day cruise thread. Different people but still stupid stuff. Made me think of you and I.

Oh no Sandy. This is terrible. We are having major issues on our Freedom thread. It has turned quite ugly.

Sorry Selena. I can't understand for the life of me WHY people aren't happy unless they make trouble!!

Sandy I sent you a pm.

I totally agree. That is one thing about this thread. I love each of you guys and I know that no one would mean to hurt anyone on our thread.

I do not understand why some people are the way they are. I do take comfort in knowing I know that people like this and like the ones on my upcoming cruise will be miserable. I know the ones on my cruise if they do what they have threaten to do will only make their selves very very unhappy and miserable. I know after the first day and I get over the annoying feelings I will find it all funny. I mean to waste you time and follow someone around a ship because you do not like them is nuts!! lol

We have already reported everything to seurity and we were told that we are to report this again when we board. CC has already told us they will back us up if anything were to happen.

Now on to nicer thoughts....

It has been beautiful here this week. The weather was so in sync with fall. Today it warmed up a bit and was in the 80's.

last summer Jeff and I moved our bedroom from upstairs to a bedroom downstairs. We kind of have two master bedrooms in this house. Erik has always had the smallest bedroom. He has been after us on moving his bunk beds down and using them as twin beds. His room was too small for this. I then thought it was so stupid for him to have a small room and we use our old room as the guest room. I mean what a waste!! Anyway we moved Erik into our old room about a month ago with the understanding it would be a while before we painted the peach walls for him.

Last weekend and this week Jeff painted Erik's new room. It is a very pretty shade of Carolina Tarheels Blue. We worked on moving the rest of the furniture and the closets today. I think now that room is done.

Tomorrow we are going to paint the hallway upstairs. Then next weekend we will paint Erik's old room. I have an antique rod iron and brass bed that was given to me as a child. AND no jersey my age is not what made it old. It was this way prior to being given to me. LOL Anyways, we had a very pretty Wavery fabric made into a bedspread and curtains when Mac was little. She no longer uses this and I am going to use it in this room. I am looking forward to doing this.

Oh here is one. Does anyone know how to clean a computer well enough to get personal stuff off of it so I can donate it to a charity?

Hi!

My Robbie would definitely know. I'll tell him to post later. He's moving and it's kind of crazy.

Sorry to hear about the thread problems. It's like I tell my students all the time - life is hard, don't make it harder on anyone else.

Cristi, I hope everything is well!

I am getting stuff together for all the gifts I have to give. Next week is Julia's christening (my niece), then my cousin's 21st bday - I bought her Vera Wang's Princess perfumes in a gift bag set, and a whole bunch on Avon lip balms since she's obsessed, but Im thinking of something else to include - since she's 21. I'm making a baby clothes topiary for my friend's baby shower, and I have no idea what to do for my SIL's bday and Brother's bday- all in the next 3 weeks!

Rob says to go to killdisk.com

Go to download free version and instructions for doing a bootable floppy disk are on there. Follow them and it will explain everything. If you have any questions, ask.

Just make sure you burn a cd or zip disk or something else with any info that you want to save first.

Lulu I did not realize you are going back to Disney for the Food and Wine Festival. I have friends there right now. Jeff and I went two years ago. We had the best time. I would love to go back. BUT Jeff is right I already have way too many vacations planned. Looks like my 2007 October cruise is a no go because I can not get off work. I will wait until the last minute though to cancel. You just never know what will happen. Plus Jeff and I are thinking about the Med for April of 2008. That will cost us a ton. The air alone will be a cruise. Then of course I am spoiled and need a balcony. Then you have to remember this might be a once in a lifetime thing so you know I will want to do loads of excursions. lol We have 4 or 5 people interested in going with us so far. So Disney will have to wait a while. We are considering Universal for next summer with the kids.

Rob and I bought annual passes so we wanted to get a good use from them and when we got a good deal on airfare, we decided to do it. I rented points to stay at OKW for a few days so it didn't totally kill our budget. :) We're trying to save up for "The Future" ;) Once these AP's expire, we won't be going back to Disney, or any vacation really, for awhile. "The Future" is expensive. lol.

We will be in WDW from Nov 7-11. It's kind of a secret because I have to take the 7th off from work and I don't really want anyone to know where I am. We are planning on it being a restful vacation - sleeping in most days, hopefully swimming if it's nice enough out and being in Epcot most days. One night, we are dining at Narcoossee's (sort of recon work, I'll explain later) and one morning we are getting up early bc we have Crystal Palace ADR's at 8 05 so we can get in early and take pictures in a hopefully not very crowded MK. :)

Okay, everyone, here's my excitement for the day. I got my box of Christmas presents I ordered from disneyshopping last week! I got presents for 4 people, and a few other things, including one really special thing - a ring bearer pillow! :bride: No, we're not engaged yet, but when I saw the good deal, I couldn't resist! So, I have officially purchased the very first thing for my wedding!

Here it is:

http://disneyshopping.go.com/DSSect...=8&Product_Id=196367&Searchstr=wedding&Page=1

I just thought it was so perfect, with the rose petals, and the Mickey and Minnie, and for ten dollars! :) I'm so excited!

I'm doing my lesson plans now. I've been doing grading, attendance, tests, etc. all day. I even went to school for an hour or so.

Anyway, hope all is well. I'll be on later. :)

Hey, Lulu, I have the opposite problem. Ask Robbie how to recover data from a portable hard drive that is corrupt and has lost its file structure...

So...can you tell us so it can finally be put to rest...Hey, does anyone know if Topsiders or the drink station has cranberry and/or pineapple juice?

Nope, can't put that to rest as the Wonder does not have Topsiders...they have Beach Blanket, so we are really still unsure about Topsiders, I will find out for sure in a year. ;)

Hi guys, as you can tell I am finally back and using my lunch hour to post here!!! Hope all is well. I will do a trip report when I get some free time, right now at work I am swamped!!!!

Selena - I must have crossed paths a few times with you while at MK on Sunday. I was there at 8:00 and hanging out waiting for our breakfast reservations at Crystal Palace. We also watched the morning show with Captain Jack, next to Pirates of the Carribbean!!!! It is such a shame that we couldn't meet up. In the panic of packing for 15 days, I forgot to print off your phone number at work. I was hoping you would have mine and would call me...oh well, hopefully there will be a next time.

Marcie - sorry to hear about your foot. Let me tell you that I DO NOT suggest that you stay at the Houston Grand Plaza. I have nothing but bad things to say about that place and their so called 4 star hotel. Let's just say from the time I touched down in Houston that nothing went well and kept getting worse until my plane trip home on Friday!!!

Cristi - Sorry to hear about your finger!!!!

Quick summary of my trip to Houston:
Monday: Plane was supose to take off from Denver at 3:15, we boarded at 2:45 and did not take off until 4:00. I was supose to get in to TX at 6:00 but ended up arriving at 7:30 to find that Bush Airport closes down at 8:00. First off, they lost my bags but managed to find them. Then I had 3 airport shuttles to choose from.....gave the first one $20 and 20 minutes later the girl takes off for the night...eventually found out that last shuttle took off before I even purchased my ticket so I finally got a refund. 2nd shuttle company was nice but found out later after waiting that they do not go out to the "medical plaza" hotels...that leaves the 3rd shuttle company left and their shuttle took off 5 minutes before and would have to wait for an hour until another one comes. NO WAY, done waiting...took a cab for $60. Got to the hotel at 10:30 at night.

Tuesday: Coworker finds roaches in her room, boss wakes up to bugs crawling all over him. I finally saw my beautiful view of the condemned pool (ok, not really condemned...but should have been) Someone from another agency tells me we are located in a "high crime" area, great the entrance to my hotel hallway is unlocked and outside of hotel lobby.

Wednesday - woke up with bug bites on my ankle from sleeping in the bed. My coworker woke up with bites as well. Went to conference rooms that smelled like mold and mildew. The rooms were freezing cold and we all ended up sick.

Thursday - Came back to the room to change for dinner. I heard water running so went to the bathroom to see what I can find.......As I walked into the bathroom, I saw the ceiling. Yes, that's right, the floor was soaked and had puddles on it from housekeeping leaving the shower on all day and I slipped. Had to file an incident report with the hotel and they wanted to drive me to the hospital, I refused and asked if they could drive me home instead!!!!!!!

Good points of Houston: Many things to laugh with coworkers about, found a really good steak house (SaltGrass), discovered you can use roach spray on your luggage that smells like an air freshner, and learned that the Galleria is an awesome mall!!!!!!!!

By the way, if you need a rental car company...DO NOT use EZ Rental. We had to pick up the vans outside a Holiday Inn and dropped the vans off outside a Subway Restaurant. They close at 8:00pm, possibly so they can go and steal more cars. Definitely you get what you paid for comes in mind here.

All in all it is good to be back, many laughs later (now that we are home!!) we did have an adventurous business trip. I do not look at Houston being bad, but the Grand Plaza was horrendous!!!!!

WOW, Heidi!!!

First of all, welcome back. You must be glad to be home after your experience in Houston.

After reading about the hotel, I looked it up on TripAdvisor and Yahoo!Travel and, wow, it sounds like Hotel Hell! I hope whomever is responsible for booking all of you there gets an earful. Good thing the boss was there to witness it, too.

Looking forward to hearing about your trip and how the girls liked WDW...

Oh Heidi you should have seen me at MK. I was looking at everyone hoping to get lucky and run into you. Oh I have pictures of the kids at the pirate show. I will post them. Not sure if you would remember these kids or not since it has been a while.

I was honestly really funny trying to see you guys. Jeff thought I had lost my marbles... but marbles are hard to lose when you do not have any.

Erik is the one in the tye dyed shirt. You can not see Mac to well but she is the one with the Golden Anniversay Ears on her head.

Here is a picture of me and the kids. You know the funny part is we had several people ask us to take their pictures but not one of the offered to take a picture of us.

That was the funny thing, when I found out what hotel we were staying at, I went to hotels.com and tripadvisor to read reviews about the hotel. After reading all the recent negative reviews, I sent the websites to everyone who was going in my office. Because of the reviews, our secretary booked us all at the Hilton but my boss referred to us as "disgruntled employees" and cancelled the Hilton and said we had to stay at the Grand Plaza because of "political reasons" and because if we stayed offsite we needed to rent a car which he had no plans on doing. Turns out he had to end up renting 2 vans anyway because the taxi's were so expensive.

Selena - I didn't see E or MacKenzie because we were under the red roof in your pictures!!!! We were escaping from the sun. I will have to get some pictures of what Karen (Chris's sister) took on Captain Jack.

I forgot to tell you all that my mom's computer is back in the shop so she does not have a computer until maybe Thursday.
