He wants to be a cartoonist. He wrote a paper in school about Walt Disney recently. He's also a big fan of Bill Watterson.

Maybe Jacob and Alex can team up. Jacob wants to be an author when he grows up, he would probably need a good illustrator. He wrote a 5 chapter book recently called The Boy with Six Arms. It was pretty good. He knows how to keep his reader interested. He then did a sequel The Boy with Six Arms: The Land of Milk and Cookies. It also has 5 chapters, but they are shorter. ( on the first book they aren't that long either, but they are all a page to a page and a half long).

That's awesome! Alex is already more about comic books. His current series is Attack of the Alien Boy Scouts, but he also does a comic strip called "Dummes" and has another comic book called Captain Melonhead. Sometimes you can see his influences and sometimes he just cracks us up.

The doctor says Aerial has strep throat and a sinus infection.

Yes MacKenzie did take it but I am not sure if she took any pictures. lol She does love her camera though.

Yes, I am back Cristi. I am soooo POOPED! Plus, I got a stupid cold this past Sunday. Our trip home on the plane was a complete nightmare due to bad weather in Dallas. Our four hour trip home turned out to be about 8 hours. Heidi's trip to Houston on Monday was a complete disaster as well.

BUT, our complete trip was great. Not enough time to even think about a trip report but wanted you all to know that we made it home. Cosmo was such a HIT on the ship. It was sooo much fun with him. I will have Heidi post some pics when she finds a moment and when I can download the pics on this computer. It needs to go in the shop.

Yay, you are home! Glad you had a great trip even if the return flight wasn't so good (we had a terrible time getting home from our cruise too). Post more after you rest up!!!

Just wanted to say hi! I so have to get caught up. School's been insanely busy and in addition to school, tutoring before school, working at Curves and selling Avon, I agreed (only after being asked/pressured *4* times by my boss) to work night school one night a week. I am in over my head and I'm really regretting it. Not to mention, we're on a salary freeze, so I'm still getting paid last year's salary- which wouldn't be a big deal, but this year happens to be the year I got tenure- which means my raise was finally more than a few hundred dollars (which spread over 20 paychecks is supernoticeable ) So, I still haven't gotten the money because we're working without a contract until the union gets this straightened out.

The one good thing is my students are really good this year. I have some special ed classes, but for some reason everyone is really sweet and well behaved. A few are a little talkative, but I have had no disrespectful kids at all yet. I'm really hoping it lasts! Everyone might get candy this Halloween!

I want to apologize if I've missed any major milestones. I feel terrible. But, if anyone can fill me in, I'd like to pop back in when I can and keep up with all my monkeys.

I will definitely be posting pics as soon as Robbie gets them in. My SIL wanted my niece to be Tinkerbell and nephew to be Peter Pan, but my nephew vetoed that. He wants to be Captain Jack Sparrow! So, he's going to be Captain Jack Sparrow and my niece will still be Tinkerbell. I'm excited to see that. I'll definitely post them.

Have any of you ever made Sangria? I'd like to try it. I have a recipe but I'm wondering how good it is and if it would be okay to sub. Splenda for the sugar.

Well, I will be around. This is my last Tuesday night "off" so I'm getting stuff done. I'll be doing Curves Mon, Wed and Thurs and night school Tues nights till about 9.

Did anyone here watch Studio 60 last night? It was really bizarre but I'll probably watch it again, lol!

I haven't posted for a few days. I am SOOOO tired. I've been working out of the office on an audit and it looks like I could have more OT soon. We have our LAST deadline for partnerships & individuals for 2005 on October 15th and things are already heating up. We didn't even get a days breather after the September 15th deadline. This is all still from the hurricane, so many more people extended it's causing craziness. Add to that, me lugging around this cast on my broken foot, I've had a sinus infection all week I guess I caught from Aerial and DH is working out of town for the week. I did make half of Aerial's volleyball game yesterday which was great. Is it the weekend yet???
