DCLCruiser, did you hear about the airport security now???? I bet Orlando will be horrible now. It makes me scared because we take off 11:57 coming back. I PRAY THAT WE MAKE IT. We bought transfers so that we could check our luggage at the port. It's all your fault for bragging when you got home this time. Cristi lives a couple of blocks from Heidi and I. Jrsy (Chuck) lives close by.

Jrsy, now DCLCruiser can help hold our purses.

Yay, you posted. I can't believe you have had 6 wisdom teeth, how does that happe? I know I had 4 pulled at one time. If I ever had to do that again I would straight out refuse to do it.

Selena - Looks like you leave a few days before us for your birthday trip. Cristi is at WDW now.

Mom - our plane got bumped to 12:05 now, with them keep bumping the time maybe it will be up to 1:00!!!!!

It is so scary what happened and I know it is going to be a mess at the airport when we take off. Thank god it didn't happen when I was in Vegas because I had water, lotion, almost everything they are banning now in my carryon. Hope Marcie and Cristi make it through Orlando airport okay.

Better check the news, its BIG! In a nutshell, some terrorists were going to sneak liquid explosives onto US bound planes in the UK. Now, as a result, no one is allowed any liquids in their carry-ons. Yeah, don't use explosive sniffing dogs, have everyone dump out their water, shampoo and hand lotion.

Thank God! Why is it with feminine products being made out of cotton the purses are so damn heavy? What else could you possibly be carrying? I'll bet the purses on the airplanes are a lot lighter today.

BTW, I can see it! The light at the end of the tunnel, I mean...

OMG!!! This must have happened after Monday. I flew home on Monday and was not made to pour anything out and I did have a few things in one of my bags. lol I bought some orgeno and basil at an Italian shop in NY and was scared they would think it was pot. lol I did put it in my carryon too. lol Both of my checked bags were searched. I found the little slip in there to prove it.

Selena - I forgot to tell you that I received notification 2 days ago that my jury duty has been deferred until November. So I guess I don't have to go to jail anymore!!!

Heidi you do not know how paranoid I was about the Xray machine. I could see it now. Being detained over my spices. All they would have had to do is open each bag up and smell. I have never bought pot or even seen how it comes so in my opinion the Italian seasonings were in a bag that could have been mistaken for pot. But they were large bags. lol

I am glad about your jury duty. But I would have been glad to go in your place. You are on deck 6 with the balcony right? The upgraded room?
Sandy what room did you wind up with?

My friend just pmed and told me she just booked a 10 day southern cruise. Is this the same one as you two are going on? I told her if she would let me know the dates I could get her in touch with you. We started chatting a couple of years ago on another Disney Board. She is from Canada. She is trying to find out information about this cruise and is not being very lucky. I will let you guys know if she is on the same cruise. lol I need to check your countdown clock. Have not thought to do that.

I can understand why you were nervous - I mean you were coming from New Jersey!

Once I made pizza, and I spilled oregano on the pizza pan and it burned a little. My dad came in the house and yelled "Who's smoking reefer?" OMG, I almost died! He wasn't serious, but he wanted to tease me, as I am apparently superfun to embarrass.

Heidi, I am glad jury duty got deferred!

I just got a picture of my niece so I will be posting it today. I don't have a pic of me holding her yet, though. Soon.

I am *packing*! I made a spreadsheet of what goes with what - like tops and capris, etc. Robbie laughed at me. So I made a spreadsheet of what I wanted *him* to wear.

I'm with Heidi about the purses:

*Do you have gum? Can I have my wallet? I need a nail file (or as Rob calls it "a nail sander" (I love that!) Do you have any chap stick? You don't!?!?* We are providing the world a service. That is the reason why gay men invented the man purse. No one to hold their stuff.

Sandy, I know how you feel. I'm a little worried, too. But I just think we're lucky. Lucky we avoided that scare and lucky that security teams were good enough to thwart it.

I wonder if eye drops will count as a liquid (like a really small bottle - an inch or so high?) ? I really need those as I have terrible dry eyes - and on a flight, it's worse. I could scratch my cornea again. I wonder if my eye doctor can write a note? And if lotion is a liquid, what about like body butters? Do they count? Hmm.


Anyway, I am going to go tanning before I go to work. I will be on to post the picture tonight.

Selena - yes, we are going on the same trip...September 7th-17th. We did get upgraded to deck 7 and my mom is right next door to me. We linked reservation with other Disers when we booked and they upgraded them too because we all booked rooms next to each other!!! WooHoo, verandah's on deck 7!!!!!!!

mc'smommy - just think 4 weeks from today we will be on board the ship!!!

I was going to say it was just your purse until Lulu chimed in; it certainly is not Tammy's purse, when she carries one. Why do you think God invented cargo pants? So you never, ever have to hand over your wallet to your significant other!!

I am so glad both of you were upgraded Heidi. I was worried for you. I know it really made you feel terrible when you were upgraded and your mom was not.
