I know for a fact that he is smarter than I was at his age. When you are nine and not only using the words "whereas" and "hypothetical" but using them correctly, it gives the impression that you are pretty intelligent.

Good morning. 2 weeks from today I leave!!!!! Maybe I will get my docs today. I have been so sad about that cruise ship that listed.

Marcie - that is so sad about the cruise ship....very scary. But I am not going to let myself worry about it and think about the "what if's"!!!! 2 weeks, wow that means I will be in Vegas then too!!!!! We can celebrate together!!!

Good morning everyone! Haven't had time to post any since vacation. I had to work Mon and Tues and then I have to work Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sunday. Rachel went camping with daycare yesterday and will be back tomorrow late afternoon. I don't plan on doing much today besides getting caught up on laundry (and maybe Jacob and I will go to the movies this afternoon).

My trip was fun. The first weekend we were gone we went to a family reunion at my great aunts house. There were over 90 people there and probably at least a third or maybe closer to half I had no clue who they were. It was fun catching up though and really good food. I miss southern cooking.

Then we went up to Kentucky to visit my other grandmother for a couple of days. That was pretty relaxing. We didnt' really do much there. My grandmother doesn't get around as well as she used to so we pretty much hung out around her house. The kids had fun playing with the kittens and Jacob loves going to the pond to throw rocks.

The last part of the vacation we went down to Alabama to visit my best friend and go to our high school reunion. It was a lot of fun. We stayed with my friend (9 people and 1 bathroom). The kids had fun playing in the pool and we had fun just watching them. The reunion was interesting. Now I can say I have been to one, but I don't know if I would go to another. There weren't very many people that I remembered there. Well, I remembered a decent amount of them, but they weren't necessarily the people I hung out with. There were three or four people that it was nice catching up with though. It was funny because we were talking to this one girl (well I guess at a 20 year reunion I can't really say girl, huh?) the first night and then on the second night she came up to me and said that she went home and looked through her yearbook and remembered that we used to hang out together. I swear I don't remember "hanging out" together. I did remember her though. After we got home to Colorado I looked through my yearbook from my Junior year for her picture and I do remember her. It is funny in high school when you have people sign your yearbook, you think you will always remember who they are just from their first name. But the years go by and you have no clue who signed your book.

Oh yeah, on Saturday they had a reunion family event at the lake and you will be happy to know that I was on the pier and didn't fall off once. I was a little nervous though because I did have the camera in my hand.

Cristi, that is so funny about the pier. Maybe you have gotten over the incident.
Your vacation sounded relaxing. I never went to any HS reunions. With 400 people I figured that no one would even miss me. And according to you, no one would remember me.

It is miserably hot here. It is to cool off the next few days. Heidi, did you know that Friday it is to be rainy? Rats, and on your day off where we would have spent it at the pool!

That is hilarious!!! Glad you had a great vacation (and that you didn't fall off the pier!!!)

I am worried about Aerial's formal. It says on the tag, spot clean only, I am assuming that means don't get it dry cleaned or wash it. Well, she wore it to a dance, I just wish I could wash it. It's been hanging out in the open in her room since the dance in February. So, I supposed it has aired out enough. Maybe I will buy some febreze and spray it. Anyone have any suggestions? I sure hope it doesn't wrinkle alot while traveling. Will the DCL dry cleaners know what to do with it if it is all wrinkled?

Just popped on to say good morning! I have to work out of the office most of the day today. Hopefully we get to go somewhere good to eat for lunch though. I have been getting stricter on my diet for the cruise and I am very happy with where I am.

Marcie, I think I would go to my local drycleaners and just ask them IF you can dry clean it. I did that to one of my formal dresses and they were great about giving advice. You don't have to worry about DCL either. Don't forget to pack your formal dresses in a drycleaners bag. There are fewer wrinkles that way.

Heidi, I don't think the rain will be as bad as what I first thought. It is a judgement call and you get to make it.....lucky you!

Marcie - I don't have any advice for you. I am the type of person that if it says dry clean only I will be the first to throw it in the washer!!!!

Mom - I don't know what to do. If we stay home I have stuff we can do, if not then we can hang out at the campground!!!! I will call you and tell you what I can do and you decide!!!!

Marcie buy some of the downey wrinkle remover and a tide to go stick and you should be fine.
