Another confession, I just got out of the shower. Guess what??? I thought of all of you. I used my B&BW shower gel. Now Jrsy, watch how you react to that.

You were thinking of me while you were in the shower? Whew! Now I don't have to feel guilty that I was thinking about Marcie showering with her B&BW products. But now I feel guilty that I am thinking about you showering using your B&BW products. It was bad enough when I was thinking about Heidi in her bikini.
I think I need a shower...a cold one! At least if I start thinking about you guys while I am in there it will be better than thinking about the creepy girl from "The Ring" coming to get me when I close my eyes to rinse my hair (which, admittedly, doesn't take very long).

I had a student (male) with hair like that girl. He used to push it in front of his face, too. Once I called him "Samara" jokingly; imagine teaching some poem or story only to turn around and see that!

So, I am on this mission to lose 17 more lbs. before I go to WDW in August. I am regretting it today. I went to Curves on Wednesday, Thursday and today since they were closed Monday and Tuesday for July 4th. On Thursday, I came in after lunch to work out and then worked there from 4-9- and I did two new workouts that night. Well, today, I walked about 25 blocks from summer school to Curves, then about 40 blocks home. So, not only am I worn out and sore, but I got a little sunburn on my face. I feel so silly!

I love B&BW and Yankee, too. My favorite scent at B&BW is the Black Raspberry Vanilla. I used Pearberry or Sweet Pea in college and Victoria's Secret Pear Glace all through high school. It's so funny because whenever I smell those I think of those times. Scent memories are strong! Right now, I'm wearing my Escada Pacific Paradise, though. I love that, too. It smells like a tropical drink. Oh, I also like Coconut Lime Verbena and Warm Vanilla Sugar.

Yankee Candle is great, but I get a lot of seasonal scents. In winter time, I get Christmas Eve bc it's Robbie's favorite (Christmas Eve is his bday) and Buttercream and Spiced Pumpkin or Christmas Cookie. I like those buttery, sweet and spicy smells then. Oh, and Balsam and Cedar around Christmas, too. In the Spring, I like to use or Lemon Zest. In Summer, I like Mango, Melon or Strawberry- the fruity scents. In the Fall, I always light Mac Intosh. Oh, and Robbie gave me a "Fresh Cut Roses" one on Valentine's Day. That smelled awesome, too. Right now, I have Chocolate Martini lit. It smells great.

I'm waiting here for someone to come get her Avon. She lives about 15-20 minutes away and rather than me deliver, she said she'd come over since she had a meeting tonight. I'm sitting here with a slice of homemade Thai chicken pizza and a glass of light cranberry juice and Bacardi Island Breeze making the best of my waiting time, lol.

I'm researching Sesame Place. I think I'm going to take my nephew there w/Robbie. Matthew always asks to go to Disney with us, and since we can't do that, I thought it might be nice to do something fun with him like that. Great Adventure is too old for a 3 yo. We've done the zoo, which we loved. we thought about the Disney Store in Times Square, but driving in NYC w/ a 3 yo would make me nervous plus he'd probably want to buy 200 dollars worth of stuff, lol! So, we're thinking of other ideas.

I think Robbie and I are going to go out tomorrow night. We've been too busy working - even when we're home.

Lulu, it was great that you are posting again. My very favorite scent is Moonlight Path. The first time I used it was my very first cruise so you are right. Scents and memories do go along together. This summer I have been enjoying cherry blossom. I use to like cotton blossom but I think I am over it right now.

Now Jrsy, would you rather hold our purses or take a cold shower??

I may be off line for a while. My computer is acting up AGAIN and we need to have it worked on. The plan is to take it in today and they said it would take about 5-7 days. Yikes, that's a long time for me!

Sooooo, if I am MIA for a couple of days, don't worry. Everyone have a great couple of days or weeks or ????

"Traction" Park is closed. Yes, the Keansburg Boardwalk is still around- I haven't been since I was about 5, though. My brother took his kids earlier this summer.

I have a question. Has anyone bought the bottled water on the ship and then taken it off the ship on excursions? I know people bring sandwiches off the ship, so I assume I could take water off?

Marcie you can take it off the ship with you. We bought the cooler with water in it on Castaway Cay but not on the ship. I had brougth some water with me from home but ran out near the end of the cruise.

Oh so close, but no unfortunately (for you and all the web cam viwers) we are staying at the Aladdin!!!! But hmmm, cameras...we may have to go check that out and do something fun for the cameras!!! (now listen for my mom to pass out!!!) You all know the saying, whatever happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

Heidi you need to find a webcam and plan on being there at a certain time and day. We did this in Key West in April. It was so much fun. But it also meant we had to be there at that time. lol

I am soooo excited. Heidi and I just ordered a bunch of "blinking" light up fun things for the cruise. We bought the hair braids, leis, suckers, flower barrettes and magnetic palm tree body lights. I found this co. on google. I waited too long for Selena's company and they ran out of hair braids. I am psyched. I hope it works out ok. The last company I ordered the flashing mouth piece took my money and never sent anything. At least the credit card company refunded it to me. This one seems to be legit.

Sandy I found the mouth piece this week in the keys at a Family Dollar Store for 99 cents. If I knew you wanted some I would have bought them for you and sent them to you.

Finally all caught up. You guys were busy while I was away.

Had a perfect trip!! God shined on everything we did. It was like whatever we did it was perfect. We stayed in Key Largo at my friend's sisters home. I will tell you about that in a minute!! We went to Key West and we had no rain what so ever. It was so funny as we were driving down we missed the rain. Every key we reached had just had rain. lol It was so nice riding in the comvertible BMW. Thursday we went to the Tiki bar. It was so funny. Janet, Jeff and I went down and Sandy stayed at her house. She calls us all worried because guess what it was pouring down the road at her house which was 10 minutes away. lol

Trip Report

Woke up and arrived in Charlotte 2 hours prior to flight. Arrived at MIA at 1:15 and met Janet at the baggage claim. It was so funny because she has her blue tropical luggage and my purple all there together. We are shuttled to pick up our rental car. They upgrades us to a mini van. lol
We are all talking as we are driving about the Harley shop and low and behold there it is on the side of HWY 1. We make a trip there. Now Jeff is happy. lol We arrive in Key Largo at Sandy's and Mikes around 5.
For dinner we had some amazing Mahi Mahi Mike prepared for us. Wonder fish!!

Monday we wake up at 5 am to go fishing on Mike's 38 ft fishing boat. We had 8 ft swells going on to the gulf stream. I loved it. Poor Janet was sick as a dog. I caught a dolphin and a barracuda. lol Came in to get ready for a party. Had a great time there and came back and had a bottle of wine.

Tuesday. Jeff went fishing with Mike. They caught yellow tail. We went shopping while the boys fished. Then in the late afternoon we went to a Fourth of July party. About 7 we headed out on the ocean to watch the fireworks. We had good food and good wine and a wonderful show. It was so pretty to sit out there and watch the coast line for all of the fireworks. Oh by the way we are thinking about making this a yearly trip. lol

Wednesday was out Key West day. I already told you about that. We had some great grouper sandwiches at Caroline's. Good drinks at Solly Joes and Hogs Breath and a few other places. lol Jeff finally got tired of shopping with us and he would go to a bar and we would met up with him later. We had a wonderful day. Came home to have a good meal that Janet cooked.

Thursday, the Tiki bar at Holiday Isle. It was so pretty there. I loved it. Very nice pool and beach area.

Friday we went to the Islander Resort. Man that is a beautiful place. While the hotel itself is not the most fanciest place the pools, whirlpools and beaches was gorgeous! The water was like glass too. So calm. We shopped a little and fed the tarrpin. That was so funny. Sandy and I were the only ones to do it. We went to a place called Bentley's for dinner. We took the Yellow Tail the boys caught on Tuesday. Bentley's has been voted the best seafood restaruant in the Keys for 12 years. Wonderful food. Then we went to a nice bar were we heard great music and we could see the bay. Very nice.

Had to get up early this morning to head home. I am ready to go back.

Sandy, I hope you get your computer fixed pretty fast.

We saw Pirates of Caribbean dead man's chest today. It was great. It got me really excited for the trip and seeing the flying dutchman at CC. I went to bath & body works. They have these summer scents that are drinks, martini, pina colada & daiquri, I bought them and some samples to bring on the trip. I also went to the dillards at the mall 30 minutes away and ended up getting a whole makeup facial at the Estee Lauder counter. That's where I buy my makeup and I needed a darker base since I've been tanning. Well come to find out they are discontinuing my base, sooo she took off my makeup to try a different base and before I knew it I had a whole new makeup job. I spent too much money, but it was nice to get the new stuff that's out. My DH got him some new dress shoes for formal night.

Now, I'm just relaxing and enjoying a mudslide. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Yay Selena is back!!!!! We missed you. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip and had very good weather. You went to my boyfriend's 2 favorite bars in Key West.

We also went and saw Pirates on Friday night. Chris went to go get the movie tickets at 2:00pm and waited in line for 20 minutes to get tickets for the 7:30 showing. He then took me out to dinner and we went back to the theatre an hour early to wait in line for good seats. The line was long, but am glad we waited because we got the best seats. The movie was great but the cliff hanger definitely left me wanting more....now I am trying to patiently wait for them to release the 3rd one!!!

Jrsy - your comments about the shower were hilarious. What a great way to start out my Monday by actually laughing out loud.

LuLu - good job on being so dedicated and good with working out.

Just stopping by to say good morning. My cruise is getting closer. I need to get busy on door signs. I may still make one for formal night. I have 3 done already but not printed. I have also got my mind set on eating very healthy the next 3 weeks. Maybe I can lose a pound or two before I go eat everything.

I had heard that they closed then reopened as something supposedly safer. Is that closed now, too? I get most of my Traction Park news from Weird NJ magazine.

What do you think of this for a t-shirt to market in NJ: I survived Action Park and all I got was this lousy scar!

Heidi those are our favorite places to go in Key West as well.
I did not know anything about Pirates until I read your post Heidi. LOL please everyone if you want to make any comments on the movie please put a warning for me. I hae been very good to go out of the room when commericals come on. I do not want to watch any commerical or know anything else about the movie until I get to watch it. Which I hope will be soon. We were suppose to see it yesterday but E did not want to come home. Jeff was so upset with him over it.

Hi guys,

I never knew how SLOW dial up is until I tried getting on today. Everything moves so slow. I have ZERO patience for this old thing. The good computer doesn't show any signs of a virus so that is good. They think it is a software problem. Two Norton's are working good together. Hopefully that is all that is the problem.

I haven't seen Pirates either. I am waiting for the hype to die down.

I have to run. It takes too long to bring up my other threads. At this rate, I will be here all afternoon long.

Mom - now you understand why I never go on my computer at home!!!!

I made my boyfriend go kickboxing with me last night....it was hilarious to watch. He can dance really good but his rythym and keeping up wasn't so hot last night!!! He said it feels too much like exercise!!!! We had a sub instructor that was hard to understand so I am sure he would have done much better with the usual teacher.
