Sandy, thank you for the card! That was very sweet. My finger is okay, it's getting better. I am very sore from moving all day yesterday. I had to go get Aerial at school today sick and I'm trying to get all of my work done. I have to take off everyday this week it seems for something. I am so overwhelmed. This is the worst week of my year already and now moving and Aerial sick too.

Marcie, I was wondering IF Aerial was able to go to school today. Poor thing! I think things will slow down for you once you are moved and tax season is over. There will be an end to this madness!

Sorry I did not post this until now. I took a half day off to admit my dad to the hospital. I have to say I feel much better since I went with him. I was able to talk in depth with the doctor.

They are putting him on Teakason (sp) which is one of the newest drugs out there for his heart condition. It is the drug I told him about 2 weeks ago. I feel much better kwowing he is going to be able to try this drug and also just knowing why he had to be admitted.

We made it into his room just a little before 1:00 pm. He instantly had a nurse tech there to get him an EKG and then to drawn 4 vials of blood for testing. Then another to put an IV in. It took 5 tries and 2 differnt nurses until they finally got the IV into his hand. It broke my heart seeing him suffer that way. Thank goodness my daddy is a roughy and never complained. I did she him wince once. Two doctors came by to talk to us and explain what will be going on. Another nurse came in to take his blood pressure (this happened twice while I was there). A Chaplain came in to set up his Living Will and his Health Power of Attorney. I tried very hard to talk him into putting my brother in charge but he said no. Then they came in to take him for a Echo Cardio Gram to make sure he does not have any clots.

Finally at 5:40 he was given his first dose of Teakason. He will be in the hospital until he has 5 to 6 doses and he takes this only twice daily. If it does not work they are going to shock his heart and try to put it back in rythme and hope the teakason will keep his heart in the correct beat.

I did find out for sure he is in Congestive Heart Failure. I was told this 6 years ago but for some reason only I heard it that day. Even though Jeff, my mom and my brother were present.

Marcie I want you to know how proud of you I am. You are doing great. It is very hard to go through what you are going through in your life. You also had the guts to call the loser out and make him help you. Good for you!!! :thumbsup2

Ariel's asthma might be acting up due to her emotions as well. Now do not go and blame yourself if this is part of the reason. I know as good as anyone what all you did to keep your marriage intact! This is his fault.

You might want to look into some classes. I know our church has some great classes to help adults and children deal with the pain of divorce.

Love you girlie!!!

Oh Selena, I am so sorry about your dad. You will have some tough days ahead. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Hugs.

Marcie, I agree with what Selena said about classes. I think that was great advice!

Selena, I will keep your Dad in my thoughts in prayers. I know how hard it is to watch your parent suffer. :grouphug:

Selena, Sandy, all of you, thank you for all of your support. It's gotta get better eventually right?

I did make an appointment with a counselor, I go next Tuesday. Don't remember if I told y'all or not. I can't keep track of everything anymore. Good thing I have outlook to put my appointments on. Tomorrow is the appt with the lawyer.

Good luck with everything! Yes, it does get better eventually. It might end up making you and Aerial closer in the end after having gone through so much. You are so smart to have called in some help - counselors, lawyers, friends, - you have resources, baby! It will all be okay. You've got an apartment to live in, lots of people who love you and a beautiful daughter. Everything else will work through eventually, despite how hard it is now.

I am glad you were able to be there for your dad and he seems to be holding strong. You'll be in my thoughts.

Selena - I am so sorry to hear about your dad. Your family will be in my prayers.

Marcie - keep on going, it will get better!!!!! I hope Aerial feels better, it is amazing what stress can do to us. Hang in there.

Well said, Lulu. I'd also like to add that, down the line, when you have recovered and moved on, I expect that there will be a certain someone sitting alone and lamenting how he screwed up and allowed such a wonderful person to get away. All I can say to that is "sucks to be him."

I second that!

Stephanie, I LOVE GOOFY GUY!!! He is the greatest guy. I would run into him all the time on the cruise. He always took the time to talk to us. I bet Shelby is getting big!

He was very friendly! They were on a couple of the excursions that dh did (of all the port days dh & I only did one excursion together ;) ) DH got stung by jellyfish at every port so, when GoofyGuy saw him it was a joke between him & dh! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Isn't that the truth!!!!

Thank you Jrsy and everyone who second'd that.

Guess what....the closer it gets to tomorrow when I get my key, the more excited I get. I have not cried yet today, that's a first. :rotfl2:

I saw my lawyer this morning I have to fill out some papers and bring them with court costs then it's 60 days.

Wow, only 60 days in TX? When I worked at the Courts it was 90 days in CO. Marcie, you are doing awesome. No tears today! Way to go!

DH got stung by jellyfish at every port
Chris got stung by jellyfish at the different ports too. In Antigua he was stung in the forehead. I swam far far away from those things and didn't stick next to Chris since he seemed to attract them!!

Marcie - Wow, doing all that and not crying......great job!!!!!!

Marcie YES it does get better. Time does heal all wounds. That is not just a saying. Life will go on and one day you will see that life is not passing you by anymore. Instead you will be living it up and realize you are actually happy again.

I pray this time will come quick for you.

I ditto what Jrsy said. I hope he feels just awful but knowing the things I know I am not sure he ever will. Maybe one day though, you never know.

In the meantime try to smile. Try to see the beauty in every day. Even though what you find might be a small thing beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

Love you kiddo!!
