CraftingDirect.com - job offer scam??

i applied for a clerical job on craig's list - got an email about working for the above sending out catalogs. They will send me a check to cover the postage fed-ex me the catalogs and then pay me about 400 week?? seems like a crazy scam i asked for a contact # still did not receive it..i tried to search the above w/better business bureaus but i can't find anything - seems real strange but what if i cash the check? there is a web site for the above - it seems they are based in the United Kingdom???

any ideas on this?

I wouldn't trust any company that asked you to spend money to work for them. No matter how small the amount.

The website is a real website that is not connected with the scammers.
