Craft Stores near WDW

Hiya all,

Just getting my final bits sorted for the honeymoon and I want your advice. I wanna do some serious scrap shopping in Orlando this year. Where do I go? The one shop top of my list is the Mouse memories warehouse but where else is conveniently located if we're staying on property? We have a hire car but DH will get antsy if I make him drive too far for scrapping stuff!

Remember I'm from England so I don't have stores like Michaels and Jo-Anne's here so if you know of good branches of those chain stores please add them in. I've been to the Michaels' on Sand Lake Rd as we always go to Florida Mall - is that the best Michaels around or is worth going elsewhere for a better selection?

We are going on a Disney Cruise so if there are any Must Do locations on the route to Port Canaveral then let me know.

There is a AC Moore that is huge about 20-30 minutes up I4 from Disney. If you want I can work on getting you more on directions but I was there last year and amazed by the size. The same area has a Michael's and a Joanne- with a mile of each of them. It is in the opposite direction from mouse memories as it is North of Disney- past Universal.

The giant Joann's store is on Palm Parkway, (which becomes 735 Sand Lake Rd )- off 535N - as if you were heading toward Universal Studios. Truly easy to get to from Downtown Disney (maybe 10-15 minutes).

Scrappers Boutique is on Sand Lake also, just east of the Florida Mall.
They have a website you may want to check out first.

Scrap Your Trip does warehouse tours on Tues & Wednesdays. After the tour they let you shop. They have a website also and are near the outlet stores. You'll need to call ahead (or email) & schedule the tour.

I'd love to do Scrap Your Trip - their online store is great. Sadly I will be being hurried by a bored hubby so anything involving a tour is out!

I've noted down store names, locations and some maps. Scrapper's Boutique looks great, I'm loving that it's so close to FL mall, maybe I can get DH to drop me there while he go eats at Chick-Fil-A ( he's obsessed with the place!)
