Hi, I hope that I am posting this question in the correct place. Can anyone recomend any craft shops in the Orlando area - I normally try to buy some cross stitch etc. whilst in the US as it is so much cheaper than here in UK ( but then most things are!) last time I visited a huge shop near St. Petersburg and spend well over £100 DH was not too impressed until I told him how much I had saved compared to home! Thanks

The biggest craft shop is Michaels - it's a bit like a craft supermarket. I wasn't specifically looking for cross stitch stuff, but I'm sure that they have it there, they have just about everything craft related.

The Michaels that I visited is quite near to Universal Studios, just off I4, on the way to Belz.
If you follow I-drive right up past wet n wild, it bends to the right and goes past the entrance to Universal, and then you will see Michaels on your left. You have to go around the back of the shopping center to get in - it's a little confusing.

the address is
6725 S. Kirkman Rd., International Festival
Orlando, FL 32819
(407) 226-1134

and there's a map here
