Anyone have a craft area they use?! I am working on mine and trying to figure out how to organize it. Any one have pictures they are willing to share?!:thumbsup2

Go look at Two Peas in a Bucket. Their gallery has dozens of craft spaces.

Mine used to be in the end of my kitchen.

We've moved since then. Now, I have a whole room, with a closet. No photos yet because it's not done.

I just started mine. My daughter moved to an apartment, so I finally have a room to convert. I painted the room (yes...it is bright!). So far, I've only put in the one shelf unit. On the wall, I've added a place to keep my silk flowers until I'm ready to use them. I wanted this to be a room for all my craft projects.

Here is the room so far.

The closet is coming along. I have shelves to hold my floral foam and wreath forms. There are baskets to hold my tulle and basket ribbon. I've drawers full of cloth ribbon and containers for my basket shred. I also have a place for all my rolls of cello.

I have a ton of embellishments. I've organized them using those little metal rings meant to hold papers together. I've sorted my embellishments by subject, with one subject per ring, and have them hanging from racks in the closet.

Next weekend, I am headed to IKEA to buy another storage unit. This one has cubbys that are 13 X 13. I plan to use them to hold my scrapbooks and paper. Here is the shelf unit I will be using.

I have a little corner of the kitchen. It use to be in the basement but never got anything done down there. By bringing it to the kitchen, I can't pretty much to it when the kids are doing homework, sleeping or simply watching a bit of tv. That being said, the kids and Dh seem to think it's dumping ground lately.

Here are some pictures of mine. I went from a folding buffet table in the living room of our apartment to a small bedroom in my in-law's basement to a whole room in our new house.

I've only made one change since taking those pictures and that is switching places of the small white bookcase and large wooden bookcase. One of the black wall shelves fell off the wall so I just covered it up with the bookcase. :lmao: I also have a new TV and DVD player that needs hooked up in there, along with new curtains that I bought last week, and I'm getting a new laptop to replace the old, bulky desktop computer.

I love my space and do all of my crafting in there.
