Hello everyone,
We have had our pop up stored for the last 3 years. We thought it would be in an enclosed barn, but was actually not enclosed. So when we got it out this past week to clean it up, we wanted to clean it to possibley sell. Well it has cracks all over the top shell. It almost looks like someone sliced it all over. Crazy I know. But that what it looks like. No I don't think thats what happened, that just what it looks like. I called Giant Recreation where we bought it originally, and they said to use epoxy to seal it and sand it smooth. Does this sound like the right thing to try or does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks so much,
Winnie

An epoxy might work, but if I am not mistaken those roofs have to be able to flex a little. Not sure how well the epoxy will do there, but it can't hurt to try. It is either that or replace the roof. The dealer I use sells a self leveling caulk, which is what most RV manufacturers use to seal around skylights, AC units, and seams. You can give this a try if all else fails.

Is it a coleman? We had a 199 westlake and after a few years it did the same thing. You can use a epoxy or fiber glass sheets and sand it down. We just wound up trading it in.

Thanks everyone. HUbby went to Lowes and was recommended to purchase some stufff that you paint on to seal. It is specifically for RV's as well as mobile homes. So here's hopin!
