Cracked open my Terramundi pot...

I have been saving since about April last year and have only been putting 'paper' money in it - the end result?

I have one of those giant whisky bottles, which I've been filling for YEARS now It's not too far from the top now and I'm looking forward to counting it and seeing what's in there

im such a bad saver i buy the pots or tins and end up opening them , not to spend but to count as i just cant stand not knowing whats in there, my hubby says im nuts ..

They are usually in gift shops - they come in all colours and may have things like Shoe fund etc on them . Do a seach on ebay - they have plenty.


I have one with not much in it as it is such a shame to smash them although if my one had £620 in it I think I would manage

We were pleased with £560 made up of £1 and £2 coins
The first £20 went on buying a new terramundi pot

I got one for my birthday with 'Holiday Fund' on it, can't wait to fill it up. Only pound and two pound coins and notes allowed in there. Will have a big BBQ next summer to crack it open before our trip
