WE HAVE RESERVATIONS FOR A WING ROOM AT THE CR FOR THE
FIRST PART OF DECEMBER. HAS ANYONE PAID FOR A WING ROOM
AND THEN AT CHECK IN RECEIVED AN UPGRADE TO A TOWER ROOM? ALSO WE STAYED IN THE WING ROOM'S BEFORE AND WE HEARD THAT THE TOWER ROOMS WERE SMALLER, IS THIS TRUE?:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Upgrades like that are very rare. If you want a tower room, I would suggest that you reserve one.

The rooms are all the same size.

We stayed there christmas 2001 i had booked a wing room with a ap rate of 139.00 when we checked in my wife asked about upgrading to the tower because it would be a far walk for her mother to the wing they gave us a tower room for the same price.. 139.00 it was great we had a view of the castle and fireworks and recieved a little bag on our door christmas morning ..

I agree Tower is worth every penny! You can watch the fireworks and the lagoon parade at night, and it's just a very relaxing way to unwind while overlooking the lagoon and the boats, MK castle and space mountain, and GF.
Close to the elevators that are above the monorail - everything in one building (shops/restaurants/lobby/transportation) - so even if it rains, you are protected! AND you can walk to MK easily!

Highly recommend it!

We were booked in a garden wing room on Thanksgiving, I faxed my room request 3 days prior asking to be close to the restaraunts etc. and also said that no matter where they put us I'm sure it would be magical.....well when we checked in at 10:30am they upgraded us to the 11th floor of the tower, and our room was ready.....I did not ask for an upgrade they just told me we had been upgraded.....it was fabulous the view was spectactular and this is now our favorite resort.....hopefully we will be going back this Nov. but having staying in the tower we will book a tower room this time.....just in case, we don't want to be disappointed.....

We went last year over New Years, and were going to stay in the wing but ended up deciding to go ahead and upgrade to the tower. We were on the 12th floor (club level) with a Magic Kingdom View, it was perfect. We did pay a couple hundred dollars a night extra, but thought it was worth it. :)

rae519......just looked at your site....so sorry for your loss, but your dedication is lovely, as was your daughter.

Thanks ozziewags - just another plug for Organ Donation. Kayla was beautiful on the inside as well, thank you. And I know she would be proud to be part of the campaign to make people aware of organ donation and the benefits for both recipient and donor families.

God bless and thank you for your note -

Here's an experience we had...

On the day after Thanksgiving, 2001, we checked into CR and had reserved a wing room. They said they were completely out of wing rooms and tried to move us to CSR for one night, no charge for that night. We politely told them that we were not interested in having to move everything again the next day and said that we'd be happy with any of the monorail resorts. They came back about 2 minutes later and had upgraded us to the tower for the week.
