CR Tower Floors/Rooms

We'll be staying at the CR in September in the tower. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a floor or room to put a request in for? I'd like to know if floors that are closer to the concourse are noisier than ones higher up, or if it doesn't make a difference. The same goes for rooms by the eleveator. Thanks for your help!

We have stayed at CR many times and have never had a problem with noise. The only request I make is a MK view.

I stayed at the Contemporary over New Years. We were on the 12th floor (Club Level) Magic Kingdom View over the restaurants. Couldn't hear any noise once the door was closed. The Magic Kingdom View was awesome!!! I loved watching the fireworks from the balcony!

I'll definetly be staying at the Contemporary Tower again!

We stayed in the tower last May and we requested a room on the 10th or 11th floor. We had a room on the 10th floor facing Bay Lake and it was wonderful! We were able to watch the electric water parade at night and we could even see the fireworks from EPCOT! We were right across from the monorail station and we didn't hear any noise. Megan

We stayed on the 9th floor, Bay view in Feb. We could hear Chef Mickey's as soon as it opened in the morning until we left to go to the parks, and again when we returned at night until Chef Mickey's closed. If we return to CR, we will ask for a room on a higher floor and away from Chef Mickey's. We didn't hear the monorail at all, just happy diners, especially during the napkin dance song.

Thanks for the tip about Chef Mickeys! Where did you stay on the 9th floor and what rooms would you suggest that would be farther away from Chef Mickeys? Thanks!

We were on the very end of the 9th floor, bay view, directly above Chef Mickey's. I sorry that I don't recall our room number.
