CR shopping rewards question

I just purchased a computer through Dell, going through the link at CR. They're saying I have to forward them my confirmation email - what are they talking about? The confirmation email from Dell?? There's nothing on there that says anything about CR.

Yes, they are talking about the comfirmation email from Dell. It doesn't need to say anything about CR. Don't forget to enclude your user id number.

My emails look something like this: (After I've clicked "forward" I type)

Hello!

My user id is xxxxx.

Something tells me I'll never get these points then. I thought it just worked like My Points. I used a different email address through Dell, and it's ordered under my husband's name - CR account in under my name. UGH!!!

Oh well, I'll give it a try - all they can do is say no. Would love to have those 1000 points though!

I use differnet address with them and different credit cards. Send it anyway.
