Please I can use some help. My first time at CR and I want to request a room with a view of MK, Cinderella's castle, fireworks, etc.

Any help?

Going 12/9 - 12/13 for MVMC.

We stayed in the N wing rooms in 2001. We were offered an upgrade to lakeview over standard (parking lot) but I knew that we could see the castle, monorail and foreworks from that standard view! We were on the first floor room #8031 I think...you could see MK thru the trees that are planted just right for an unobstructed view! My kids loved trying to guess which color monorail was going to pull in or out of the tower and we had ducks on our patio each A.M. to feed. It was also a short walk to the food court/arcade area. I highly rec. this for the lower rate than the tower...the rooms are HUGE and the daybed is truly a bed. We loved it there....had a great rate of $135 which didn't hurt either. It is so nice to be so close to Chef Mickeys as well.
Enjoy your stay at CR!

Call CRO and put it down as a request. They can't guarantee anything. Remind them when you check in and hope for the best! We are hoping for the same.. actually we have the same dates as you! 12/9-12/13 :)

Goodluck,

are you booked in a tower or garden room? if you are in the tower you wont be dissapointed with either side. I was so dead set on a mk view and when we got there they gave us bay side i had the choice to switch to mk side the next day but after seeing both sides in person we decided to stay on the bay side. it is much nicer during the day. the mk side is great at night but during the day you are really looking at the parking lot. we were back at the room every afternoon and sat on our balcony and looked over the pool and the water and the boats it was just beautiful.at night by the time we got back all we could think about was sleep. we where there the end of oct and the fireworks went off early most nights so we really werent in the room at that time.either way you will love the cr and dont stress over the view i made myself crazy before we went and ended up likeing what i thought i wouldnt.

Folks - thanks. We are booked now on the AP $121 night rate in a standard room. Great rate - could not resist. I will request the N wing room #8031 and/or MK view but wonder if you know how the higher floored numbers go? Do they have higher floors in the Wings?

I will make request at CRO and then check in with Contemporary via phone night before and morning of arrival. This has always worked for me in the past. In September 2004 - it worked at WL, and before that at GF. So my fingers are crossed.

Thanks Heather too. See you on the 9th at CR. We'll be the family jockeying for the same room!

What would be the expected rate (non AP) at the Contemporary the first week of March? I love the looks of that place, it is right on the Monorail, and the room might have a view of MK. It is a Deluxe, isn't it? So I'd be looking at over $ 175 at the least ????

for a tower room you will most likely be looking at about 250 a night but if you could swing it it is a great expierence.

we have a garden room for 150/night for Christmas week with an AP

I wouldn't recommend a specific room. Instead I would recommend asking for what you really want. You want a view of the MK and the fireworks. You may want to request a higher floor too, although there are no balconies. I believe that there are only 3 floors in the Garden Wings. If stepping outside your room is important to you then ask for a first floor room, but your view may be blocked my the monorail.

That's what I got ...

And thanks for the recommendations - I will be sure to get them in correctly.

We are just back from Thanksgiving Weekend and were in the tower room 4234...Excellent view of Wishes. WE loved watching it from the balcony and channel 20 had the music on as well. What a magical experience to watch Wishes from your room!!!

A non- discounted room is going to run you $319 plus. Mid Feb to Mid April is peak season. If you have AAA I know they offer discounts.
