CR Resort

I have never stayed here and we are going to be here October 3-8.. any advice on room locations, things to do. ect...?

I wanted to stay there on my next trip! You are so lucky. One thing to be aware of is that the resort is undergoing renovations. That drives me nuts - mainly b/c of the noise during naptime for my kids. If you are in the main tower, it shouldnt affect you at all. I think the south wing is under renovations. Have fun!

By the far the best thing about the CR is the onsite Sammy Duvall Watersports facility. Boats and other such watercraft for rent. Stayed in the Tower Club in 2003 and had a great afternoon of waterskiing. The pool and quiet pool here is also simple and nice. There is a pool bar too!

If you are a tennis player, the CR has many courts, some lit at night.

The walk to MK is also nice to do, if the monorail is busy.

Tower lake view gets a view of the fireworks at MK.

Hmmmmmm.......where to start?.......We stay at CR every year! It is our absolute favorite!!! We like the tower, even though it is more expensive than the standard wing rooms. We like the convenience (not to mention the view) of being in the tower with the monorail, the restaurants (you simply MUST have breakfast at Chef Mickeys!!!), and the stores. The atmosphere is lively, yes, some people find it annoying, but it's Disney World for crying out loud!! If you want quiet, go to a deserted island!!! We prefer a view of the lagoon, as opposed to a view of the MK. With a view of the lagoon, you arise to the sun coming up over the water, and you can watch the electric light parade that travels through the water every night between 9 and 10. The rooms are some of the largest of all of the resorts, we just love it so much!!!!!!! Have fun!!!!!
