CR questions

We will be at the CR in a couple of weeks and I was wondering about the boats. do they only go to the MK? also, do they supply a hair dryer in the room? an ironing board & iron? do they have 24 hr room service? and if you have packages sent to the resort do they place them in your room or do you have to pick them up in the main bldg? we will be in the N.garden wing. sorry so many questions but never stayed at the CR before. Thanks in advance! Linda

Hi Linda!

We just returned last week. Had NGW through SOG. There are hair dryers and iron and ironing boards in the room.

Didn't notice about 24 hour room service, sorry.

If you have a package sent, you will have to pick it up.. let me explain..

We went through a big mess with our package sent to us from another person.

If the package is sent via the post office, you can pick it up at the front desk. If the package is sent UPS or FED EX, you have to call the Contemporary package office, as they will keep it in another place. Go figure.

Linda, post the boat question on the transportation board and it will be answered

There is a boat launch that goes between CR, WL, GF but I am not sure which order

To get to the MK, best way is to walk - about 8-10 minutes from the North Wing otherwise take the resort monorail - about 15 minutes I think

We will be going to CR 5/16 to 5/19

...I just had to post because I noticed jaysue's resort choices "OKW and CR" we're staying at "CR and OKW" for our trip. Have a great time!!

One question though. I keep hearing that the NGW at the CR is VERY noisy, can someone give me some input on just how noisy it is. Just an FYI we stayed at ASMo our first trip in the corner room, ground floor of the "Buzz" building. We heard a little noise there, but not enough that I would never stay again. Is that how noisy we're talking at the CR in the North Garden Wing?? Or noisier??

I'll definitely post a trip report, esp. regarding noise levels at CR NGW. Unfortunatley can't swing the Tower rate this time around.
