CR or Poly for split stay?

We usually vacation every December and try to stay in different resorts. I would like to experience as many resorts as possible. Our favorite resort is the BWI, so we know that half of our stay would be there. But the only MK area resort we have tried is the WL, which used to be our favorite but now seems to be going downhill.
My DD6 wants to try the CR Tower room, I want to try the Poly, and DH wants neither because he feels they are "old and out of date".
The CR has a slight edge because I don't like the idea of having a walk outside to my room, but the Poly looks lovely with the theming and especially the dining choices. A long questions, but any insight you might have would be greatly apprecaited! Thanks!

CR is my all time fave Disney resort, though I love Poly as well. I'd go with splitting the time since both of you want different resorts. You'll be able to experience the perks of each that way.

The thing we like best at the poly is that at night you can go out on the dock on Bay lake and have a great view of the MK fireworks. after a long day at the parks, we just love it. we also love the tonga toast at the kona cafe. The poly has a very laid back atmosphere.
the cr is fun, but it is a lot more hectic and less relaxing. since it has a lot of convention space, it is usually more crowded.
i vote for the poly, in fact my dh and i are going there in aug. to celebrate our anniversary.
