We are honeymooning in WDW in June. I called and reserved a jr. suite. Can anyone tell me anything about these rooms? Do they have balconies? Any views of MK? All the CM could tell me was that it was 600 sq. ft. Is it worth it to pay the extra $$ ($25/nt.) instead of getting a wing room? We are trying to save some $$ but want to have a great room since we are getting married in WDW and since we are moving out of state and DH is an OTR driver, it may be several years or more before we are able to go back.

I think it's going to be a lot more room than you need; even if you did plan on spending a lot of time in it.

I've seen one (when I was working at SoG, we went over to CR to look at the rooms so we could describe them to the guests just prior to the renovation). It was 2.5 rooms put together. We walked through the door, in the north wing....2nd floor, I think, and entered the living room area (which seemed to be a little bigger than a standard room). There was a full bath off to the side and the closet (as there is in all the rooms). As you continued into the room and turned left, you came to the ".5" part of the room. There was a bed (double...I think) and another smaller sofa and tv and a mini-fridge.

You came to a door and as you walked through it, you were now in another full sized room (but it was called the 'master bedroom') with a king bed and your normal room stuff.

This jr. suite looked out onto Bay lake, but there was no balcony; just a little guard rail with about two inches of cement you could slide onto.

While your honeymoon is and should be special, I would take that extra $25/nt (not including tax) and either spend it on an extra night, or two, in a regula room. Or, have some nice meals (even room service!) some place. Yeah, it's nifty to tell every one you stayed in a "suite" for your honeymoon, but I don't think the CR's jr. suite is all that much to spend the extra money for. :(
