I'd be surprised if that isn't what it is. It's been amazing to watch the progress and track it, from the time it first actually started building a few weeks back (the paved area went up about a week or 10 days ago).

I didn't believe the C-shaped building rumor until now. It certainly looks as though it will be a big C, and I believe it has the same orientation as the make believe photo.

Now the question is will it be a DVC Resort?

now this is the first construction news I have been excited about...saratoga springs did nothing for me because of its size and location....The Zoo Villas have absolutely no value to me.....BUT THIS IS SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT....bring on the CRV, ALL HAIL THE CRV!!!!!!.....I also love the idea of a members only lounge.....any word on what the pool situation will be???

I haven't seen the plans with a Mickey pool - but the work seems to be going so quickly, so we'll see. I plan to be back there Friday.

I am at WDW these week and was chatting with my guide today. I asked him if he had any kind of word on CRV and he said no DVC word and that there is a sign on the construction fence over there that says Disney Guest Suites.

I have no been over there to confirm this. I will try and see if there is a way to get by and snap a photo if I can find the sign he is talking about.

Guest Suites? Hmmm. Is that just to distract us? Is it anindication possible of a mixed use resort? Or not DVC at all.

If there is anything besides a DVC resort built there...i will be passing out the torches and pitchforks at my house, and we can all make the trek to disney headquarters....Its about time disney reward one of its biggest cash cows with a monorail resort!!!!!!!!!.....I'm tired of sneaking into the polynesian

You all got it wrong, a monorail pilot told me that it's the DRECC:
"Disney Retired Executive Country Club"


Part of ME's retirement package so he doesn't have to mingle with the Hoi-Polloi when his grand kids want to see Mickey!
The whole top floor!
And a new spur and with a private monorail train too!
I'd better go post this over on the Rumors board so AV and his buds can go balistic!

It is amazing how much it changes from week to week, I have been taking photos nearly every week (a lot of people are interested in that). The inside of the CR too, everything changing quickly!

Here are some photos Eric took yesterday (9/9) before our lunch at Chef Mickey's. No where could I find that "Disney Guest Suites" sign my guide said was there. (This was a comment he made 2 weeks ago when I asked about CRV possibilities).
